Since the new 2.0.1 Patch came out, I've been wondering what factor reputation with Warsong Sentinels, League of Arathor, and all that will play out for. Do they simply give you discounts to Honor required to buy their wares outside the BG entrance? If so, I figure I'd just start leveling the guy I'm playing again and forget about hardcore PvP since I already bought the items I was after for my current level.

it means nothing now, its all about the honor and tokens.

the rep you had means nothing other than looking nice on your char sheet.

i do know that they are/were going to implement exalted as a rank for thouse who were exalted with all 3 battlegrounds though they never got around to adding it.

You can still buy most of the old PvP items from each battleground with honor and tokens (in addition to the GM/HW stuff) from the faction specific vendors. You need a specific level of reputation to buy those items, so it is still used for something.

u dont need a specific reputation to buy some items from bg vendors. all u need are the tokens and honor. for example, in bought therazans touch by av vendor not even being revered with alterac.

Ah well. Figures, cuz I just leveled my rank with Silverwing Sentinels the other day. At least I got plenty of WSG Marks of Honor and Honor Points from it.
