I'm a level 17 Night elf trying to get from the wetlands to loch modan so I can get to Ironforge: Where do I turn south? I figured that by the time I had gotten to the level ?? elite dragons that can do 700+ damage with one fireball that I had missed my turn.

Basically, yeah. Just stick to the road. Follow it straight ahead, it will make a turn to the south. This way you will also get a lot less enemy encounters, certainly if you are already level 17. Try to do it at level 1, heh... :smiley:

Yes - from the harbour, follow the path straight - dont turn off & watch out for the crocs that seem to agro in a 50 mile radius. Eventually (say 5-10 minutes running on foot) you will reach a tunnel. Follow this, and the other tunnels in front until you exit in Loch Modan area.

There is a culvert between the tunnels where some lvl 19+ guys are but you normally can run past them ok.

After the tunnels just keep following the path as it goes through the woody area. After a minute on the left will be a town where theres a Griffon bloke and a pub.

Back out of the town onto the same path you were originally on and follow it between the hills. Just before a guard tower on the left, there is a right turn. Take this which leads you to another tower/enclosed camp area.

Go inside the walled area and take the left exit/path. Just basically follow this path now until you reach Ironforge on the right hand side in the mountails. Theres a sign and a right turn there. That stretch is probably about 5 minutes run I guess.

Lol thanks guys I made it all the way up the curving hill the first time, before I started towards the dragon gate. But somehow my cursor targeted like a level 30 orc raider through the hillside in a way that made me think he was sitting on the path ready to axe my face off. So before I even posted this, I was about 20 yards from where I needed to be and then turned away. Boy do I feel STUPID!
