Even before I took a break, I had a ton of items I needed to sell, but the process of selling them, and finding the right price, it would take hours to sell all the stuff I wanted for a good price. I was wondering if anyone could help me, either through AIM, or even some useful websites or even HOW to sell items without ripping your hair out.

Seach the AH for the item you want to sell and put it up for a little less BO than the next guy. Always use 24h auction time unless you are selling some common goods like cloth.

If there are no auctions for that item I use the following formula to quickly set a reasonable price for an item:

Green: Start - 2 x automatic initial price on AH, BO - 3 x the initial price.
Blue (unless exceptionally good or rare): Start - 3-5 x initial price, BO 5-10 x initial price (depends on the level of the item).

Hope that helps.

You can also use Auctioneer a few times to establish going prices for your items, or check www.wowhead.com or wow.allakhazam.com to see what the usual prices are for your items. Those will only give average prices for all realms though, so be careful with that option.

Is there an addon program that shows the average price ingame?

You need to get auctioneer. It hasn't been updated fully yet though the timeframe is before Christmas now.
