How can I get to that lake...?

Hey guys :)

I'm basiacally exploring all Azeroth with my char to have all maps full uncovered before Outlands come in, and I stopped at one point.... there is a lake - as in this picture:

And i can't discover it - uncover this small piece of map! I tried everything and still nothing. But 99% Wetlands map on google have it uncovered. Help me:)

tryed from the outside part where orc lv 20-21 are when you travel from Lake Shire to Wetland in the tunnel?

not sure, but maybe you can by there.

i've been there

the only way to do it is to get to the mountain above ironforge. from there you can either climb up to the peak, climb down south face to get on the gates of IF, climb down east face to get to the airport, or climb down southwest face to get to the farm in wetlands. from there you can go west along some untextured terrain and get to that lake. I never got it to fill in on the map though, but I was there at it.

Basically, you need to get to IF airport, cross it to the Flightmaster (who isn’t there) and go down to the Wetlands farms (you see them when you fly down that mountain going from IF to Menethil) and continue west. Eventually you’ll hit some VERY open spaces, kinda boring if you ask me, unless it’s your first time, or you’re high on weed and you’re showing your buddy, or something like that, it’s very empty.

Don’t worry about getting banned, you won’t. Once I had petitioned a GameMaster and forgot, I ended up at the Menethil Farm (can’t access unless you go through the airport) and the GM basically laughed and said, Nice spot for a meeting place. If you can get to it without hacking or teleporting, it’s fair-game… and I’m sure Blizz has spots like this all over the place just to add “depth” to the game for those whom think it’s a top secret hiding place. Additionally, if you are at Menethil farm, there’s a tunnel (like the one you go through from Loch Modan to Wetlands) that leads to a whole wack load of NOTHING!! I was alone when I went, and I’m a hunter, so I don’t have any feather fall or pally bubbles to keep the fall damage from killing me. I jumped down, fell for about a good 20 seconds, then ended up dead right in front of the IF front gate, where everyone duels.

Yep. There exact wording is "If a member of both factions can get to the location in question without the use of third party software it is not considered an exploit and therefore not against the rules of the game."

From a GM I petitioned to question the WSG terrain glitch.

Exploring like that isn't what POs Blizzard. What POs Blizzard is when people try to go to like, Hyjal for instance. In the case of Hyjal, it hasn't been relesed to the public, nor have any details been relesead to the public. They don't want what they have in there getting out and then someone stealing it for their game. That's why for the Alpha (internal) testing, there was a non-disclousure agreement by the testers, which means, they can't say jack about what's going on. They don't want stuff that they haven't relesead to the public getting out.

I went there (yeah::) but map still doesnt uncover;(

Even if you get there your map won't uncover because as far as the map system is concerned that area is unreachable and thus not tied to a specific node on your map, so getting there does nothing.

I have to disagree with the non-disclosure comments. Blizzard has development servers for the really secret stuff. It it's in the released client then they know someone will see it, be it through exploring or with third-party programs like wowmapview.

I've visited many of the unfinished zones including places like Hyjal, the Canverns of Time, and South Silithius (aka beyond AQ) without ever using hacks or exploits. I say if it's accessible without cheating it's fair game and I think you'd be hard pressed to find any zone the GMs could legitimately kick you out of.

Just youtube it - there's ton's of video's on youtube showing you how to get there and other places.
