Hacked

Hi, I just wondering how many of you here have been hacked and not got your account back yet? I have myself been waiting sience 2 of November... :cry:

Does it say you have been banned at all, had mine hacked and then bout 3 days later it says i'm banned. Called Blizzard, sit on hold and was eventually told you must email the account team which I did and I'm still waiting an answer from them.

No, its says im temprarily closed, lol, have just been waiting for 1 month and 21 days now. I have sent the account info to blizzard when they askd for it but that was about 1 month 14 days ago, so it feels terrible. :sad:

I got mine back after 4 hours of discovering what had happened.

You tried contacting them again? Try using the phone instead of e-mail, that should get you more chance of an actual reply.

I have called them 2 times but they can´t help, because they have no contact with the Accound Department and they only uses e-mail. :sad: its bad support I think.

Or, since they are probably dealing with 50,000 calls from the 105,000 banned accounts (from November) the three people managing that effort are swamped...

BTW, the THREE people was a guess....

Yes I got hacked but I was a new player and they didn't have anything to steal and I got my account back really quick. Seems I got a keylogger virus form one of the sites I had been at. What is strange is I got the virus on the computer that I don't play WOW with but I do use it for research and for quest and info. I did join some web sites. So it seems I got the virus form one of them. This virus disabled all my McAfee Protection and I mean all of it Ie fire wall and virus protection. This virus is connected to a directory it created within Windows call Perfetch it then modified the svchost.exe file in the Windows/system32 dir and place another SVCHOST.EXE-2D5FBD18.pf in the same directory. This seems to be created by a big time hacker for I am working with McAfee to help them find out more information on it so they can stop it. For right now McAfee can't stop it I also hope it has clues so they can catch the guy. They said thats always one of there objectives.

I suggest you e-mail Blizzard and ask them what the current status of their investigation is. As a consumer, you're entitled to know, at least that much. Because I've got the distinct idea, you may have slipped through the cracks, and have thus been forgotten about. Append the previous e-mail correspondence as well, to get the relevant personnel back up to speed.

I know Blizzard can take their time, but two months is indeed very long. I also suspect that your review has been misplaced somehow. Contacting them again is really your only option, and as the phone doesn't work, try to use e-mail. If that doesn't work, use e-mail again.

ok, thanks for the suggestions, I will try that... But if any1 of you know any1 working for blizzard and can check things up for me, I would be more than happy...
