I'm using a laptop that was not meant for gaming at all (So i know i'm pretty lucky WOW is playable at all) i turned down all settings for WOW and get about 16 FPS when just running along the road and about 40 in caves and houses. Is there anything else i can do other than turning down the obvious video settings?

Also, i make sure to turn off anything that might be running in the background and all that other stuff. Just want to know if there might be anything in an INI file that can be edited to be set even lower than WOW lets you from its own video settings? Stuff like that.

Thanks for any help.

Depends on the bottleneck you're trying to resolve. How do we tell what the bottleneck is? We need the actual specs, RAM, CPU, Graphics solution. Any advice we throw out now would knowing what's actually holding you up will be pointless, there's no point striving hard boosting one system when the barrier to increased performance was elsewhere.
