cant access mail??

It says I have unopened mail but when I click on the icon, nothing happens.

Can anyone help? I have been expecting a message and now I cant get to it. :sad:

Are you going to the nearest mailbox? You don't open mail from the icon, you open it at a mailbox, which is usually found at an inn or the main city banks.

To the OP, as said earlier, it may be just that you are trying to open mail without being at a mailbox...Go to a mailbox (they are at every inn) and try again there...

I'm willing to question how it was unhelpful. You may resent it's abruptness; but it's accuracy is high. First there was the plain and simple reassurence that it is not a problem or a malfunction he is experiencing. I then clearly guided him to the information to where he can do research on how to resolve his operating difficulties. That sounds pretty helpful to me.

I'm willing to differ in opinion as to what is helpful, and I consider what you did to not be much help...

Pointing out that a person didn't read the manual is at best marginally helpful, IMO. Spending the extra ten seconds to tell them your thoughts as to what was going on and how he might get his mail would go many more miles, as it would have legs.

Perhaps you aren't aware that it is against the guy code of ethics to actually READ a manual?

Typically, one doesn't read a manual. I don't. Unless there's a problem or question. That's what it was wrote for, to be used it if and when the need for further knowledge arises. My thoughts are not what he asked for, only to resolve the issue. I consider pointing him in the right direction to be a firm and definitive resolvement, not only to this problem, but to teach the OP of a readily available source of information is sitting right under his nose for when he has questions like this very one. Perhaps I wasn't aware that BS like a "Guy code of ethics" suddenly excuses people from using thier common sense.

You don't click the icon to get mail, it is only a notification. You run up to a mailbox, common in your faction's towns and cities, and click it to get mail; as quite clearly explained in a handy little section of a booklet that came inside the game case. The answer is right there in print, in your very hands.

I have read the manual and the World of Warcraft Master Guide from BradyGames, I haven't even played the game yet!
