1.12 to 2.01 patch issues

so i freed up space, after restarting wow and it loaded the installed (you no the program with a dragon as its icon) and it took like an hour to get to 30% and sometime around then a thing came up saying like couldnt find some file. I repaired wow and then another file thing came up! Plz help!when i press f8 at start up to get to safe mode i cant go up or down with arrow keys and therefore cant select safe mode! Please help!
