We are a party of a Druid, Hunter, Priest. We would like to share the professions into us 3. Can someone tell me what fits best for druid, hunter, priest taking in mind that none should have the same profession twice? Like, i know that pirest is good for tailoring, hunter is good for skinning, druid is good for herbalism or leathering. But i would like an experianced player to tell me which is best. Thanks!

Priest-Enchanting\Tailoring
Hunter-Engineering\Mining
Druid-Skinning\Leather, or Herb\Alch

That will fight you quite well.

The above suggestions are good, you could also take Skinning/Leatherworking on the Hunter leaving the Druid with Herbing/Alchemy. Another option is to take Mining/Jewelcrafting when the expansion comes otu in January, that would be fine for any character really (perhaps it goes best with a Hunter from a lore/RP point of view).

I thought for hunter, engineering is better 'cause you can create guns and ammo and all that crap.

True enough.

I would actually recommend that you pair each character with one gathering and one crafting skill. Since two of the three wear leather, I recommend that you drop tailoring. Also, Leatherworking can make armor kits which all of the party will use (except for when an enchant is preferred). The leatherworker can also make items for the enchanter to disenchant.

- Priest: Herbalism/Enchanting
- Hunter: Mining/Engineering
- Druid: Skinning/Leatherworking

Also, are there any racial modifiers to consider?

Gnomes get +15 to engineering, but since I think engineering is best for the hunter and gnomes can't be hunters that is useless anyway.

Tauren get +15 to herbalism, which is useful for a horde druid if you pick herb/alch for the druid.

Humans get diplomacy (10% better faction) which is useful when you need to grind for the faction patterns/recipes.

Blood Elf. +15 to enchanting. Useful if you roll horde priest.

Leave the gathering of materials to those who do this most efficient and the manufacturing for those who are lousy gatherers.

I got for instance a miner/skinner - BS Hunter (good gatherer) and a Warrior whos an Armoursmith/Engineer (Not a good gatherer)

Another rule of thumb (imho) is to put Enchanting on a class who is wanted a lot for Groups/Raids. This makes the gathering of Ench. mats easier. (My Mage is one)

On my priest I got the Alchemy proffession, for she's her own best customer (Mana Pots) I did not put Tailoring on her for the reason that it is so very easy for this class to get a group/Raid/Guild that gathering the better gear is a walk in the park and makes the Tailoring skill not-so-usefull.

I made my Feral Druid a leatherworker for he is in need of differend sets of leather armour for differend situations (Tanking, Prowling, PvP-ing and ocassionaly healing).

The main reason engineering is useful for hunters and rogues is that they can feign death/vanish and avoid dying during wipes. Then they can dust themselves off, equip their jumper cables and attempt to shock the rezzer back to life. Seeing a hunter or rogue who doesn't engineer makes Baby Jesus cry.

/Agree

I know someone above posted putting an enchanter as a class who will get into raids/instances easy. I went an opposite route for this I added professions to my hunter to make him more usefull in this situation.

Enchanting/Engineering

Not to mention stat hungry classes like hunters love having good enchantments on their gear.
