Hunter Professions?

I am trying to decide between Mining/Engineering mainly for Goblin Jumper Cables, or Skinning/Leatherworking for some gear while i level up and money later on end game. Or perhaps another profession?

Skinning/Herbalism to maximize income while leveling.

I went for skinning & leatherworking. From what I can see Mining is good, but theres a lot more skinning can be done than mining. Same for Herbs, there dont seem to be a heck of a lot about.

Also as a hunter you get targeting so you can see beasts/things to kill & skin all in the one radar, whereas if you take mining then you have to keep flicking between the two abilities.

The only thing Ive found with leatherworking that is not so good is that generally at lvl 20+ I have better armour from drops than I can make from skinnign and leatherworking. Not so bad as at least I can just sell it.
