I feel like writing something finally so I guess I will. Forgive my posting in a fan fiction of world of warcraft as this story will be sort of told through different realms with different types of creatures than you may be used to in warcraft and different names than most would recognize. But, for your enjoyment, here goes it. Please feel free to comment
The Night Watch
Prologue:
Staring in the void it was apparent that Karin had entered someplace never seen before, looking to the sky, the knight looked for the three moons he was used to in his home world of Aeneth. The night sky was clear and devoid of the dark moon he was used to seeing Trinid as they called it, the moon of death and destruction ruled by the dark horse Enok. The neutral moon of Tain was no where to be seen either, its pale white color shining down on the plains of Bristlebark where he grew up before studying the dark practices. Karin knew this world was different, only seeing one moon, shining blue in the night air like a sapphire of night glistening over silver blades of grass and iridescent pearl caps of water in the distant horizon. Karin studied his surroundings “Damn you Sera. Damn your brilliant idea.” Karin turned to look, and saw lights far to the west, and decided to see what would lie ahead. “Step one: Take your surroundings in.” Karin began thinking of his past training in knight school, and began walking.
Chapter 1:
The Small city of Auberdine remained quiet through the night, the Silverwing Sentinels guarding the city struggling to remain awake for any impending attack they were always posted to watch for. Kealla Nightwing stood still as stone staring at the area where the large flash appeared just moments before. Was I dreaming? Did I really see what I thought I saw? She tried to remember the process of things that came swift as a swallow in the night. The flash blinded me…then a dark light…lights cant be dark…that’s not right. But it was a dark light…black as the blackmouth fin soup my mother made…and then…something indescribable…was it a man? I didn’t see his skin through the armor he was wearing…but he…it was wearing armor. Should I alert the guards? Did anyone else see what I saw? What do I do? As a myriad of ideas processed through her mind, Kealla decided on one that managed to creep its way in…Investigate. You have to see what it is and decide to raise the alarm. A flash of smoke and she vanished into thin air, no more than a cool spring haze expected for the season. As she walked down the shores past the camps of murlocs, she saw her armored figure and began sizing him up.

Karin remained motionless where he stood, staring at the strange creature that was prowling to his location. It appeared to be a female with pointy ears green glowing eyes and long brown hair. Her pants dark brown leather and a shirt made of what appeared to be some kind of white fur. Sizing her up his eyes saw the familiar shape of a scabbard and a small sheath around her wrist. “I seriously hope this thing doesn’t try to attack me.” Karin began murmuring slightly an incantation of darkness as the night elf approached him. “Might as well get this over with if she is deciding she wants to check me out.” He finished his spell, and pointed in her direction, black ooze slowly formed from behind her and started engulfing her body.
Kealla felt the ooze and tried to let out a scream, but suddenly felt placid and felt no danger from it. Seeing the strange figure point at her while she was cloaked had shocked her, and her standing still after and slipping into a deeper stealth didn’t exactly work either. The figure still saw her, and still pointed at her, and now she had some warm ooze around her that somehow reminded her of the womb, or what she pictured the womb would be like. As the ooze made its way up her legs, she realized that it would soon engulf her, and she would suffocate, but still remained serene and calm. What manner of spell is this? To make me feel so calm in a state of emergency…Suddenly the knight was beside her tho she had no idea how he managed to travel so quickly to get there without her even knowing it. Staring up at the dark knight, she tried to search for a face, but only managed to find two glowing red eyes staring back at her. The armor was worn and tattered, obviously from heavy usage and hardly any repair, the only ounce of color he had besides his black armor was a deep purple cape and a purple scarf around his neck bearing a black rose emblem on it. The stench of him was almost unbearable and the young night elf was unable to distinguish what kind of creature he was. A smooth bassy voice rang out suddenly and interrupted the serene quiet moments prior “Why are you trying to stalk me?” Kealla shocked to hear the voice was only able to stammer out “I…I…I just wanted to see if you were a threat.” “Given the fact that I am, is this going to be a problem if I decide I wish to kill you?” Karin droned. Suddenly shock took over Kealla and she found the black ooze had faded and she drew her sword, but no sooner did it begin to come out that her strange attacker vanished. “What in elune? How can he do that?!” she began frantically searching around for her would be assailiant only to see mist and haze. Her adrenaline ablaze like the Great Forge at Ironforge Kealla realized that even if she did scream, she had gone too far away from Auberdine to actually have help hear her. She began running praying to Elune that her attacker wouldn’t slay her before she made it back. Christ this guy creeps me out…why did you have to go check him out Kealla? You’re the weakest out of all the sentinels and you have a daughter. “Maggie. I have to make it back to Maggie.” Karin sat one hundred yards ahead of her on the beach chuckling to himself while he waited for her to finish approaching where he now sat, still invisible to her he was sure. He drew his sword as she made her last few strides to where he was sitting, and he rose, tightening his grip on the pommel he began to swing…

A very descriptive and interesting story to be sure! I cant wait for the next chapter. One suggestion though, more than likely, Night Elves are not Christian so really using "Christ this guy creeps me out" may have been somewhat out of place. Keep up the good work!

Chapter 2
Kealla heard the sword swing before she ever saw it; her gut instinct told her to lunge out of the way toward the left and hold a dagger up to parry the following thrust of the dagger as Karin followed his sword strike with a sharp jab. Kealla rolled under Karin’s massive body and kicked the back of his leg barely even moving it. Karin drug his sword tip through the dirt circling around the sword raised causing sparks as it flug shards of gravel into Kealla’s unprotected face. The dust and rocks blinded her for a moment and caused her to wince slightly saving her life from the up thrust of the sword as it narrowly missed her left cheek. Kealla swiftly rolled backwards wiped the dust out of her eye and drew a throwing dagger from her ankle in one swift motion and rose to throw it at the throat of her assailant. Karin raised his hand in a motion for her to stop as the dagger left her hand. Karin snatched the dagger by the pommel before it ever reached him and boomed “Please let us end this as it obviously won’t end well for you.” Kealla, short of air and stunned by the sudden statement looked up in confusion at her red eye attacker. “I know this may confuse you, but I still have much use for you as I do no really know where I am, or even how I managed to get here.” Karin stated. Kealla, still confused to the actions she had just witnessed and hesitant to rise took a couple steps back thinking of running off to the town. “I seriously discourage what you are thinking.” Karin quoted. Kealla, still shaken, finally mustered the courage to speak to the large death knight “What do you want me to do?” Karin just smiled and waved for her to come toward him. Kealla slowly took a step forward, weary of another sudden attack, and just looked into the red eyes of Karin to ask “How did you travel so fast?” Karin once again smiled, and asked her to point the direction of her home. Kealla pointed back to the town, still dimly lit and suddenly appearing much further away than she previously remembered, at a small home on the far south end of the town. “There is my home.” Instantly, Kealla felt a mist form around her and woke to the morning sounds of roosters and the dwarven blacksmiths smelting their ore before a long days work. Was it just a dream? Karin, still invisible to her, rested on the chair next to her bed, admiring the young elves soft and supple features. He would remain silent and in her shadow throughout the day until he gathered enough information by nightfall to appear to her again and start his journey.

Chapter 3
Kealla began the day not even worrying about the night before.
Maybe I’m foolish for not thinking it really happened. She was still unable to explain how she suddenly appeared in her bed or where the mist came from, but one thing was certain, the bruises on her body and the soreness made her think in the back of her mind that something did happen, and it may not have been a dream. Five years ago, I was just a school girl being recruited by the sentinels. Kealla was a bit of a night owl, which made her perfect for the night watch she was assigned to. She was also relieved because this would give her time to spend with her daughter when she wasn’t staying at her grandmother’s house. All that suddenly came crashing into her mind again like a rock thrown through a window. Maggie…I have to go see her. Kealla left her home and began heading through town, but eerily had the notion she was being watched and even odder to her…she was being followed.
Karin stood cool and calm, invisible to the townsfolk and their busy bustling around the city. He saw dwarves working at an anvil just a little down the road. Their height alien to him, as the world he was from dwarves didn’t exist. He followed the young elf to a house, and as she knocked on the door, he decided to walk around and see the rest of the town. Leaving his new found companion, he went around the building and rematerialized, his long black cloak swirling around him like a vortex of velvet. He walked around the building and back into the city, and got a few odd glances as we walked toward the inn.
Strangers aren’t really welcomed in towns like Auberdine. Their main staple of guests is elves and humans, not exactly the undead. Since the Great War, ogres and undead have been attacked on the road leading to Auberdine almost regularly. How an undead knight managed to make his way past the guards and into the city, no less right up to the inn shocked Innkeeper Farley, just finishing his breakfast of eggs and bacon. He rose out of his seat and walked to the alarm, just as the dark knight reached the door. Damn undead never learn…then again, they don’t exactly have a mind to use. The stocky innkeeper sounded the alarm, and a swarm of sentinels came running into the center of the town to a surprised Karin.
Karin, shocked by the sudden outburst, took a step back against the wall, and slid his hand onto the pommel of his sword. What in all creation just happened? I really hope they don’t think they are going to win this fight with just numbers. A bolt of ice suddenly his Karin in the chest, and before he hit the ground he had a swarm of elves leaping through the air onto him like rabid beasts to a hunk of meat. I guess I’m gonna have to make this short and sweet. Suddenly as the first elf was finally coming to the ground, Karin muttered a chant, vanished, and quickly rolled to the side as the elf came crashing down onto nothing. Close one… Karin quickly chanted another spell and appeared behind the large group of stunned guards. They obviously haven’t seen a disappearing act like that either ever or in a long time. He rematerialized and boomed “To what honor do I owe the pleasure of the warriors of this city to attack me?” The sentinels all quickly spun, and appeared even more surprised to see their prey they had attacked standing tall behind them without a glimpse of fear on his face. Kealla, just exited her mothers after hearing the commotion outside, shouted across to the sentinels “Don’t attack him, he will slay all of you without mercy.” Karin looked over at the young elf. “A bit harsh don’t you think? After all, YOU are still alive are you not?” Kealla blushed after realizing he was right, and bowed “My apologies sir. Sentinels this is...” “Karin, member of the order of the black rose.” Karin coolly responded. He walked over to Kealla, and whispered “Thank you, I’ll see you later.” Karin rose his hand, and with a flourish, brought it down to his waist and took a long deep bow before the night elves. “Until I see you all again” and vanished.

Chapter 4
Fifteen years ago, I was just a simple man with a simple life. The death of the great lord Soth caused many people to falter in their ways. The light shone no more, and it was our duty…MY duty to bring good back to the people. That was before Sera…
Sera Alones…my mentor, my teacher, my traitor; the one person I never expected to ruin my life, my best friend, somehow managed to change things for me forever. I still remember the first words she had said to me…”Do as I say, and you’ll live.” Sera had a way of reaching into peoples hearts and touching them. Granted, she was stunning in every way shape and form, standing half a foot above five, with long flowing auburn hair, piercing green eyes, dark complexion, and subtle curves, Sera was in every way…perfect. One time I had thought of courting her, one time, before the mage wars.
The mage wars were a dark and desolate time, with thousands of innocent lives being lost. Family and friends were all involved in the war, as Lord Strahd von Zarovich and his undead army finally found a way out of the distant land of Barovia, and made way to Dargaard Keep in the land of Krynn. Only a few survived the wrath of Strahd’s army, before the elders managed to transport him back to his homeland and bring up the dark mists again. The order of the black rose was all but destroyed, with the exception of Sera, myself, and a few other members that were on crusades far away from the destruction.
“Think you can keep up with my sword play Karin?” The slender dark knight joked as her rapier danced through the air like a fairy in the breeze. “You have to admit I’m getting better Sera.” Karin replied, as he felt the ache of the bruise on his side from the day’s previous sparring match. “About as much better as an ox would be trying to catch a bumble bee in a thorn bush. Face it Karin, you are no match for speed and agility with those big muscles getting in the way.” Sera always enjoyed picking on Karin for his size compared to her, and her ability to dodge every attack he could muster. She did have to admit he was getting better, but she wouldn’t ever let him know that, it was bad enough he was handsome enough to get any woman he pleased, much less let him know he was one of the best fighters she had ever come across. “Shall we try again lummox?” Sera joked as her rapier slapped Karin across the thigh. “Oh I think you’ll meet your match today toothpick.” Karin lifted his broadsword above his head in a rather aggressive stance compared to his usual defensive stature against the slender knight, in an instant, a bolt of light spewed from the sword and grazed across Sera’s thigh, splitting open her mail armor, and leaving a black mark where the chain had been. “What the deuce?!” was all the shocked Sera could manage to eek out. “I told ya little one, I had a surprise for you.” Karin grinned from ear to ear at his ability to shock Sera finally with something she didn’t know he could do. “Oh…its on now…till the break of dawn ya big oaf.” Sera smiled across and sheathed her sword, drawing her dagger out from its sheath, and began chanting one of her favorite spells. Karin suddenly fell to the floor, grabbing his neck as the air was sucked out of it, much like he was punched in his throat. Karin looked up at Sera teary eyed as the deadly knight slowly walked to him, slipped her arms around him and kissed him as she dispelled the curse she planted on her unsuspecting friend. “You may have lost the battle, but you have me for the war tonight.” Karin grinned and felt his piece rise up to meet her thighs.

Brief, but good. Your descriptions are vivid, and Karin is an interesting character. My only complaint is that you sometimes have sentences like this one:
Staring in the void it was apparent that Karin had entered someplace never seen before, looking to the sky, the knight looked for the three moons he was used to in his home world of Aeneth.
The first part of the sentence is fine (from "Staring" to "seen before"), but the second part doesn't really link up very well. It feels like a run-on of sorts. If you had a stronget punctuation mark than a comma, it would work fine.
Also, one other comment: a paragraph makes for a short chapter (and a short scene). Brevity isn't a bad thing in and of itself, but longer chapters would allow for greater insight into the course of events.
Don't get me wrong, though, your writing is good. I look forward to more.
