so ive just bought wow, installed fine, downloaded the patch and ran the updater. unfortunately my mom managed to unplug the external hard drive that i was installing the patch onto which has crashed the updater ("cannot delete file...") now whenever i run the updater it says that "world of warcraft has already been installed" and i can't run the game without it reverting me to the blizzard downloader which checks the downloaded files which are fine.
Anyone got any advice? i really don't want to dl the patch again as it took like 7 hours this time. would a reinstall help? if so is there a specific patch file i could back up fist so i don't have to re download it? any help would be greatly appreciated as because ive never got as far as creating a character and without one i can't send blizzard a tech support form.
