Yes, I've got the same problem, so I'm looking for some help aswell. I've just loaded my disks on to a new computer. If I look in the WoW folder, the addons are all there, but the tab saying "Addons" isn't showing on the character page. Any help would be appreciated - it's awful playing without some of these addons!

Might be a problem of the trial version, I guess you just can't use addons with it.

Has nothing to do with a trial version or not. I successfully ran several Mods on an EU trial account, during the v1.12.2 to v2.0.1 hand-over. The latter broke the Mods, but before that they worked fine.
Could you chaps make a SS of your AddOns folder and then post it, might give us something to work with.

Ok I'll try, tho not sure how to go about it.
I'm not using the trial version. I just used the original disks. The addon folder shows all the things it did before (Blizzard stuff and three things that I downloaded - EquipCompare, SellVale and MiniCoords), but whereas everything worked fine on the old pc, the addons option is now not showing up on the character screen.

To create a screenshot in windows:
Press the Print Screen button on the keyboard, load an image editing program such as paint shop pro, photoshop, even ms paint.
Go to the Edit menu > Paste
Save the picture to wherever you want it, (.jpg format is usually the standard)
To Create a screenshot in WoW:
Press the Print Screen button on the keyboard, browse the WoW folder for the screenshot directory (not sure where off the top of my head). It will be saved as a .png (If you can't open png files go to Google to find a program that can)
To post a screenshot here go to www.imageshack.us (http://www.imageshack.us). Upload from file, click browse, find the pic you want to upload and press Host. Then create a post and use the Insert Image button to link to the picture or just paste in the link that you are given from imageshack.

Thank you - I'll give that a try tonight.

Ok, well for some reason using print screen doesn't work, so I'll list below what was in the addons folder:
Blizzard_AuctionUI
Blizzard_BattlefieldMinimap
Blizzard_BindingUI
Blizzard_CombatText
Blizzard_CraftUI
Blizzard_GMSurveyUI
Blizzard_InspectUI
Blizzard_ItemSocketingUI
Blizzard_MacroUI
Blizzard_RaidUI
Blizzard_TalentUI
Blizzard_TradeSkillUI
Blizzard_TrainerUI
equipcompare-2-9-8
MiniCoords_20061209
SellValue-4-_20061207
Is there anything here, or not here, that might be causing the problem?

Ok, mind you, I haven't done a lot of UI stuff since the change over to v2.0.1 broke a lot of mods.
But this is what mine looks like
http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v515/IS_Wolf/UI.jpg
And that's the exact same way, essentially, how it looked prior to my Mods being broken by the patch switch over.
So, if yours does not look like that, then something's off.
If, yours does look like that and it still doesn't work, then I'm stumped.

As an aside. Opening a cmd prompt, changing to your WoW folder and running:
"dir *. /b > addons.txt"
without the "" naturally will create a text file with a list of all the folders in that folder in a neat and tidy text format which you can simply paste into a forum post. If you require additional information (Date/time stamps, etc. you can use:
"dir *. > addons.txt"
or
"dir * /s > addons.txt"
to get files and folders and whatnot. In my case that first one gives me:
Ace2
Blizzard_AuctionUI
Blizzard_BattlefieldMinimap
Blizzard_BindingUI
Blizzard_CombatText
Blizzard_CraftUI
Blizzard_GMSurveyUI
Blizzard_InspectUI
Blizzard_ItemSocketingUI
Blizzard_MacroUI
Blizzard_RaidUI
Blizzard_TalentUI
Blizzard_TradeSkillUI
Blizzard_TrainerUI
Cartographer
Cartographer_Herbalism
Cartographer_Mining
CrayonLib
DewdropLib
FuBar
FuBar_BagFu
FuBar_FuXPFu
FuBar_LocationFu
FuBar_MailFu
FuBar_MiniClockFu
FuBar_MoneyFu
FuBar_PerformanceFu
FuBar_RestFu
FuBar_TrainerFu
FuBar_VolumeFu
FuBar_WhisperFu
GratuityLib
MetaHud
MetaHudOPT
MobInfo2
Necrosis
OneBag
OneBank
OneRing
OneView
simpleMinimap
TabletLib
TrinityBars
About the only sensible suggestion I can make would be to remove all third party addons, pick something well known like FuBar or another commonly used AddOn and install that. IF the problem persists, get in touch with Blizzard support.
But ... I'm not too sure - sorry

It looks exactly like that, without the one non Blizzard addon you've got, so I'll try Blizzard. If I get any joy, I'll post the reply here in case it helps the first poster.

I never did get a reply from Blizzard, but for the op of this thread, I have got my Addons folder showing up on the character page now. I deleted all the addons that I'd put there (not the Blizzard ones) and removed the zipped files from the folders where I'd downloaded them to. Then I started again and downloaded the addons I wanted from this site, opened them in a word documents, and cut and pasted them to the WOW Addons folder. This time the Addons option showed up. I had tried removing them and reinstituting them before and it didn't work, but I was using the ones I'd already downloaded.
