Hi,
I'm sure (assume) there are loads of people out there unable to access WoW since early this afternoon. I'm on Quel'thalas (sp?) and although it's not on the list of affected realms on the login page I still cannot get in. Checked the realms status page and QT is not even there!!!

anyone getting similar, nothing has changed in my set-up and all other internet activity is OK so suspect not at my end.

Thanks.

Yep, I'm on Ahn Qiraj and I can't log on either. And it's not listed on the login screen. It sucks. I had things planned for today's session dammit!! :annoyed:

The status page says that they will be doing rolling restarts to apply patches (January 5th, approximately 15 minutes downtime per realm)

Could it be that?

Im starting to think its a routing problem. Im on lightbringer and half of my guild are connected no problem (found out via vent) but i still cant connect. Im on NTL not sure if thats making a difference. Even wow-europe isnt loading and a tracert times out on hop 13 :(

Same thing here. Cannot connect to Lightbringer, after entering the password it doesn't do anything other than write "connecting..."

My brother, on the other hand, can play just fineon the same server (he's on a different cable line)

Someone in a different thread is saying that blizzard has blocked a bunch of IP's.

If you have dynamic IP assingment then reboot your router/modem or call your ISP and request a change. IF you have a static, call your ISP and ask for a change.

Otherwise, your out of luck.

It really looks like route flap, or a similar problem- it seems to affect whole networks.

I very much doubt that it's because of any IP blocking- it would be very unusual to block access to the web site, too. I smell broken infrastructure.
