I'm sure the answer will make me look like an idiot, but I've checked trainers, googled, asked in-game, and still can't find an answer.

I'm sure it's a statistical anomaly, but still...where the hell is this thing? (horde, if it matters).

TY in advance,
~Semi

Book at Dustwallow Marsh, IIRC

Book at Dustwallow Marsh, IIRCIndeed, it's vendor bought. That is for Horde, in Brackenwall Village there's a vendor who sells the manual.

For Alliance, you have to go to Stromgarde Keep in Arathi Highlands. He is a bit trickier to find. As you approach the main entrance to Stormgarde Keep, turn right before entering the keep and run around the outside until you spot a crack in the wall. It's easier entering through this, you'll avoid all the monsters (level 35 elite). Once inside, run across the bridge into a courtyard. Once you have crossed it, turn right and there he is. Deneb Walker is his name.

Often times people 'generously' import and distribute them on the AH for a paltry fee for thier time =]

If I recall, expect a new toon without faction honor to spend 1g. 90s when honored. Easiest way is have your main purchase for the savings, then mail it.

You wouldnt believe the amount of time I spent in Stormguard looking for this guy. I ran past him like 5 times and missed him, died loads from the gits who attacked me. Then I looked on *cough*Thotbot*cough* and saw the crack in the wall technique and where he was.

If you die in there its a fair walk back to your body too lol.

Thanks a bunch guys. Got it, got it leveled. I had, I kid you not, like 100-140 mageweave hanging out in the bank.

Ok...so obviously I'm already through the Mageweave bandages, where can I get the Heavy Mageweave bandage and, hell, whatever is after that?

Why is it I can't seem to find a good FA guide?

Guides are slim. Good guides are slimmer. I think its because a lot of people have been playing a long time and "just know it".

Its annoying the hell out of me though lol.

Have you seen the "Search" on the top of this page? A search for "heavy mageweave" brings up many threads, including this one:
http://forums.worldofwar.net/showthread.php?t=375743 (Post #4 very useful for you.)

Mmm, I apologize. I had, in fact, not seen that feature.

By and large, I get my info from the guild, from Google searches, or from the official forums. I tend to post here rarely.

The profession guides on this site and the ones linked to from www.worldofwarcraft.com are very useful.

Oh, and for Heavy Mageweave Bandages and the higher level skill quest, you need to go to the castle in Theramore. The First Aid trainer in IF will also give you a quest to direct you there.

You also have to be level 35 to get trained for heavy mageweave in Theramore IIRC.

For the Horde, you can find the Doctor in Hammerfall, he will send you on quests and get you the upgrades to runecloth bandages
.

And remember to go back to that Doctor later for the Heavy runecloth bandages. That one is free.
