I heard that warlocks got seriously nerfed in the beta. Im playing on a lock right now and am thinking about rerolling. can someone give me the details on what other classes got nerfed/buffed?

Thanks

lol even if the nerf is true warlocks will probably still be a good class to play..

Even if that is true what I haven't heard anything about warlock should still be a reasonable class...

Warlock are currently arguably the most buffed in TBC, so whoever told you that was just having some fun I think.

this may have either always been the case or changed a while ago, but rogues got nerfed with off-hand weapons, which now miss about 25% of the time.

As far as I can tell, unless being turned into demigods is a nerf, warlocks are seriously powerful in BC. I am not the sort to call nerfs on anyone, but if I were they would be it.

The class in BC that's in the worst shape IMO is rogues. I'm no lover of rogues, but relative to other classes (which generally got nice buffs) their damage is looking a bit limp.

I believe that dual wielding always had a built in miss with the off hand at default 25% :S (at least that is what somebody told me almost 2 years ago, when I was totally loving dual wielding as a hunter hehe)

I have to agree that unless there's something on the beta realms that I'm not aware of, overall, warlocks got buffed nicely. Yes, there are probably a few talents that aren't as good, but overall, a definite improvement.

As for missing with off-hand weapons, assuming you're fighting a mob the same level as you are and have no +HIT gear/talents, my understanding is that your chance to miss for both main hand and off hand is 24% (a 19% increase over using a single weapon), and has been for quite some time, so that's not a new nerf.
