Ok when WoW came out you know that it came with a 10-Day Trial so your buddy can play, well when my friend got WoW he gave me the 10-Day Trail, it installed WoW on my computer. Now the thing is I just started playing again about 2 months ago and I installed the 10-Day Trail. Also my friend said he was selling his account, I told him to give it to me and he gave me the account and he is paying for month for it. Now I don't pay for nothing and I didn't buy WoW. What im trying to get here is when Burning Crusade is released say my friend buys it and he lets me borrow the cd's could I install it on my computer and then just use the account my friend gave me and play Burning Crusade? Or will Burning Crusade come with a Cd-key or will it come with a 10-Day Trail like WoW?

I think I kind of understand your question and I need it answered also. I have 2 accounts, which I started a while back for some dumb reason but I keep them both up now. One has mainly Horde chracters and the other is Alliance. I was wondering do I need to buy 2 copies of TBC or can I share my one. I'm figuiring I have to buy 2.

To the above you'll need to buy an expansion for each account, it's not a matter of just installing TBC, you're just adding a key to an account to upgrade and like most other online games; especially MMOs, a CD key is one use only and can never be used again. This will be the same with Burning Crusade.

What makes you think they were going to make it possible to only buy one copy and be able to reuse it indefinitely?

Since I can't understand some of the OP I'm not gonna try answering for now...

Kost, you could get your friend to buy the expansion and add it to his account, but you can't transfer the toons off your trial account to that of your friend. Also your friend will have to keep paying for the account (that he's no longer using) for you to play, hardly fair. You won't be able to register as the owner of the account. If you are no longer friends, he can change the password and take over your toon, or just not pay any more so you can't play. I'd say just get the game (think you just need to pay for the key these days) and the expansion yourself and save yourself a lot of bother. The one-use-only of the game/expansion key has already been explained above.

Bliz won't condone the use of one account for two people unless they are an adult and that person's small child. They also do not condone the transfer of accounts from one person to another. Your friends account could easily be banned if they find out.

Question: Can I upgrade to Burning Crusade without paying for it?
