Chancing the 16th

So i have 4 days holiday left, thinking about taking a couple of for the BC release. Is it worth taking the launch day off, or waiting a couple of days to let things calm down?:ponder:

I'd wait a week, TBC will still be there, probably in better form.

If you use lots of addons, wait a month.

I doubt addons will be very much of an issue this time around, as the changes were made in patch 2.0.1.

Hrm...I only ordered a CE as an english version and a german version for my son. If the store where I ordered the CE doesn't get enough copies, I won't have to chose what to do on the 16th anyhow ^^

I took 3 Vacation days off.

I plan on grinding a low level draenei in Eastern Kingdoms so I'm assuming the majority of lag will be Kalimdor and Outlands.

Ultimately it comes down to faith though. ^^

Well, up here in norway, the local store is getting in about a thousand copies(confirmed with retailer). So stores in bigger citys will probablie have enough copies to last a couple of days;)

The portal to the outlands is to go live at 12am (midnight) on the 16th.

The last patch, 2.0 is to be the live final version. All that is left to do is open the portal. For more current info, i suggest checking the blizzard forums.

Personally, I am taking off the 18th and 19th from work. Same boat as you.. vacation days.

I figured it would be bad to take off the day it came out so I took off the 22, 23, and 24, plus I’ll have the weekend off so I’ll have 5 days in a row off. I still need to check on when we can pick up our copies from gamestop though.
