BC built only for hardcore players?

I was wondering if anyone who's tested beta could inform me as to whether this expansion is geared at a higher difficulty level, so as to make the level 60 with T1 and T2 gear an "average" build? I have meager gear, at best, on my character who JUST hit 60. Will I be able to move into the outlands? Or should I expect to have to spend some time in level 60 dungeons gearing up, before I can go?

You can level pretty darned fast actually.

At least the quests leading to the ultimate fight, namely at Mount Hjyal (sp) to prevent the altering of time looks pretty darn hardcore to me. Was posted here earlier and looks like a combination of:

-level from 1-60
-get attuned to Onyxia, MC, BWL
-get blue gear in the process by running Scholo, Strat, DM
-clear MC
-clear BWL
-grind AD rep to exhalted so you get into Naxx
-and some Naxx

Getting from 59 to 60 took something like 210 000 xp.
Getting from 60 to 61 already takes 415 000 odd rep.

Could be in beta faster xp accumulation was enabled...and I bet we all won't have a rested bonus on the 16th ^^

But from what I heard from ppl in my guild who are in the beta, the lv 60-62 quests are pretty easy and reward you with green gear that is equivalent to tier 1 epics..so you are prepared for the tuff stuff to come...

There is a TON of content in BC for the casual player. TONS of stuff to do solo and in 5 mans. There are 15 dungeons (including wings) for 5 mans. You will do fine if you are wearing blue/green. Lots of upgrades fast, from simple questing.

15 dungeons?! over a span of 10 levels? Game content, please...yowza.

I'm at 69 now, never did an instance, mostly soloed. Difficulty is about the same as doing STV from 31-45.

I'm holding off on instances to give myself something to look forward to in release.

Various other reviews have listed instances that can be done in less than 30 minutes with only a few boss designed specifically for the casual player.

Seems like lots of content for both casual and hardcore as well as the new high warlord armor sets for pvp. Which I havn't seen the stats for but the set bonuses arn't to bad. Set bonuses can be found on alla...

I don't know thier policy on gold selling so I'm not gonna link it, maybe someone who knows if alla is clean can link you the sets.

That sounds quiet good and intriguing...just like my way of playing....

lv 69...playing a lot? Are ther many lv 70s? Flying mounts?
