So, I was fiddling with WoWModelView...

..and I found some very interesting things.

Tier 4 is the level 70 version of Tier 0 and is kinda similar in style in that is doesnt go way over top, its sort of workmanlike. Good for those of you who like 'realistic' RP.

Tier 5, however, is back to the good old tried and tested ridiculously over the top method. Although within all the spikes there are a few gems.

Cool, eh? Thats the Paladin Tier 5, I can't remember the name, something to fo with Avatar, but Blizz really hit the nail on the head with this one.

Most of the Tier 5 is quite cool, though some of it (Rogue and Warlock in particular) looks like comic bad guys.

Its a bit wiers seeing a Draenei Shammy, but they seem to pull it off well.

Those are Gladiator weapons by the way. Yes, they are all that ugly. If you think thats bad wait until you see the 2H Mace.

Another little titbit I found may reveal something about the Illidan encounter. I've found someone who doesn't like him at all.

Maiev is in the game somewhere. I read somewhere that she was captured, or dead. One of the two.

One comment on the tier 5 pally though, it's weird cause I seen a video and a couple of websites mention that was tier 5 priest, I suppose they could be wrong.

Its more likely I'm wrong. I just assumed it was Paladin because.. well, its looks Pally-ish.

It is Priest, not Paladin. Which is a shame, as that just looks so good with an Ashbringer.

Anyway, there are 3 different sets of armour coming out with TBC. Theres Dungeon Set 3, Tier 4 and Tier 5. Dungeon Set 3 is much like the Dungeon Sets now, and can be found in the level 70 5 man instances. Tier 5 is found in the 25 man raids. Tier 4 is somewhere in the middle.

Anyway, heres a UD priest in Dungeon Set 3.

And Tier 5 is already supplied, so I'll leave that out. :)

Edit: I just checked WowWiki. Apparently Maiev isn'y dead, but is imprisoned by Illidan under the watch of Akama. A minor lore revision perhaps?

Big one iirc actually, considering the same book, which pronounced her dead, said that he was alive. Whereas, the TFT ending cinematics gave everyone the impression that he himself was toast, and that she was just MIA.
