Heres the first of several general questions that I ahve in a series that i will keep updated day by day.

Ok first off, What is the new cap (if any) on proffesions above the current 300 skill level? I ahve heard anything from there being none, to 385, to 400. Also, will there be new formulas/recipes/etc NOT pertaining to those with certain tradeskills such as a Master Weaponsmith getting new armor plans? Also, are there any new materials or are there any materials that we may already be able to acquire that we can stock up on?

Remember: ANY and ALL info on proffessions in BC will be helpful.

Lots of nice info in the Proffesion section. All of your answers can be found there.

As a quick reply tho:

each level of the professions is 75, and this one is no exception so the new limit is 375.

Recipes above 300 almost exclusively use new mats found only in Outland. There are a few notable exceptions tho, such as arcane dust. Enchanters create arcane dust from arcane crystals.

And yes, all the old specs get new recipes, especially to make BoP items. There are also new specs for tailoring, alchemy, etc.

Was on the other day (non beta mind you ;p) and my buddy began spazzing out in gchat because he found new learnable recipes by his trainer. Its also good to know that you can UNLEARN spec proffessions without giving it all up jsut to get another... only a minor penalty from what i understand.

What profession, what recipes and what trainer if you would?

I made the journey into ulda to speak to then enchanting trainer when this happened and there wasn't anything new. We did get a JC recipe on the way but nothing from the enchanting trainer.

There are new trainable recipes from the enchanting trainer... they just aren't new to the game. Major Mana to Chest, +7 int to bracers, All resistances to Cloak, the highest strength to gloves and I believe one more are all trainable now at the enchanting trainer in Ulda (I went last night). Although I can't confirm 100 mana to chest because I already knew that one.

In reguards to a few mats and trade goods that I personally have begun stocking up on... here are a few that I have found common, cheap, and easy to get so that they may be "hustled" once BC arrives:
-Ore/Bars (especially thorium and copper)
-Citrine, Jade, Star rubies, etc... for Jewlcrafting
-Arcane Crystals for enchanting
-Runecloth for First Aid
-Mooncloth
-Felcloth
-Novelties (ie. nonaggressive seasonal pets, preserved holly, snowballs etc.)
-Hot pockets... har!
-and as a last tip, hustle boe's now because they will be next to worthless in the near future.
