Free month with BC?

I haven't seen this question asked anywhere. But currently my subscription to WoW has elapsed. When I buy BC and load it on, is there a free first month just like how WoW was when it was released?

Or will I need to load on BC, and then resubscribe.

I guess there will be a free month, but you will have to have an active account to upgrade to BC. So I suppose that, just like with vanilla WoW, you will need to subscribe first, then upgrade your account which will add a free month to your subscription.

Of course they could also be cheap and not give one.

I can't believe they will give a free month, simply because it is an expansion. The people buying it are already paying 15$. If it was a new game, to get someone started I can understand lowering the initial cost of playing. But the people buying xpac are already hooked. I'd like a free month, we have multiple accounts but i don't see it happening.

Meh I tell you, all the perks go to all the new guys that Blizz wants to hook. And not much consideration is given to the guys who have been supporting WoW for the past 2 years.
