can't use my crossbow....rough

I can't use my crossbow, I have a green frame around to buttom. I have learned the profession. Can somone advice me?

Make sure you didnt put the crossbow on your hotbar instead of the shoot crossbow button in your spell book. Also, do you have ammo for it equiped?
