I'm going to try following Jame's leveling guide from 50-60. This guide calls for Titan Panel, one of the features it says you need is the coordinate system to find quest locations.
When I search for Titan on this site I get a lot of Titan stuff. Is there a standard package I should install? I don't know much about mods, and with the exception of healbot, have never installed them.
I would also like a xp/hr meter.
Any advice appriciated.
Thanks,
Barry

Just the basic Titan comes with x,y cords and XP/Hr meter along with a few other useful things.

I don't want to get into expirimenting with mods too much, I'm sure it could take on a life of it's own... would you recomend metamap over titan panel?
Thanks,
Barry

I love Titan Panel....it has so many different Perks that you can download to go with it. It is nice, and extremely clean.

Titan and MetaMap don't serve the same purpose.
Titan Panel gives you a bunch of information across the top/bottom/both of your screen such as location, loot type, xp rates, money, bag slots, fps, etc.
MetaMap is a main map replacementy mod that does lots of things related to that.
As it happens, both will give you current and cursor co-ordinates on the main map.
So it's up to you, but they're not really comparible.

Alternatively try Fubar, even cleaner and even more lightweight.

FuBar is indeed a direct replacement for Titan and you'll generally get better performance out of it.

cool, thanks for the suggestion.... I'll try FuBar tonight....
I assume the coordinate system is information that is fed to the app, so it doesn't matter which app I use (i.e. if I'm following a quest guide from somebody that used Titan, the coordinates will be the same if I'm using FuBar).
Thanks,
Barry

Yes, although you will need to download Location_Fu (I think) for the co-ords to show.

I'm pretty sure LocationFu comes in the main FuBar package.
