As you can see your system RAM is below the minimum so upgrading that would be a top priority. The good thing about a ram upgrade though is that it will benefit the performance of the entire system. Get as much as you can afford, I would recommend 1GB minimum.
The real problem with your set up though is the video hardware. This system is pretty old, has an integrated intel 845 video card and unfortunately has no agp slot for a video card upgrade. This basically means that you are stuck with what you have. I'm not sure if this is up to the minimum 'Geforce 2 or equivalent' or not.
I think wow will run if you upgrade the memory ... but only just! I would highly recommend getting some cash together for a complete system upgrade...

From personal experience....get as much RAM as you can....it will help. 1GB MINIMUM despite what specs say.

Anything lower than 1GB and you will lag in main cities, especially crowded ones like Ironforge and Orgrimmar. I still have minor slowdowns with 1.5GB of memory ram.

I went from a 512MB laptop with a Celeron processor and a standard Intel video card to a 1GB laptop with the AMD dual-core processor and a Nvidia GeForce 6150 and I will tell you...it makes a HUGE difference in my playing experience. I NEVER lag on accout of my computer when before it was a really big problem.
My advice...get a new system. The one you have now, based on the specs, has to be like 5-7 years old, right? You'll probably spend about the same upgrading it as you would just buying a new system!
