Why do some of us feel the need to post in the threads that we report? Personally, I see it as a way to flame, poke fun, and generally be an ass without making the mods too angry.
dood you're just gonna threadquit your own thread again /shrug
and i'm equal opportunity poster, i don't discriminate threads on the basis of race, gender, ethnicity, or the fact that it's reported.

WRONG. I got a 3 day ban awhile ago for doing exactly that. Seriously.

I threadquit the other "Did you ever wonder why" because of all the people that posted in it, there were only two people that got the point after I had explained the point very thoroughly...twice. Of those two that did get it, both admitted that they couldn't think of anything to post on topic (at the time), and one continued to post there off-topic. I didn't see the point of trying to explain it anymore.
This thread is related only by the OP (huzzah for me) and the title. And I love having fun in reported posts.

I'm not doubting the power of the temp-ban stick, but I still see you posting in threads that have been reported. Have you toned down on the offensive content you post in them?
hehe yah, that doesnt make mods happy :p esp if u take it too far :p

That was actually the same day you defined QQ for me. I thought I got banned for "provoking" you. I was

Now I just play games with them. The thread I got banned for (although no cussing/racism took place...) I did use about 10 different adjectives to describe a gold seller. A mod didn't like it and I got slapped with a temp ban stick with the threat of "don't do it again."
I tend to forget about that which is why so many of my posts are edited. I'll write something, post it, and be like, "ohh crap!!!" and run back in and change it.
That being said....i don't think the mods like the continuous bumping of them to the point they reach the log-in page. So I try not to do that. If there are more than a few posts in them, I stay away.

That helps me out some. I should've named this thread "Handy Guidelines for Posting in Reported Threads".

Well I don't know if the mods like it at all. Just make sure you report it!

The only time I don't report them is if someone has posted that they have done so already.

I try not to post in them, because bumping them really isn't helpful. Better to let them die a swift and anonymous death. I've given in to temptation once or twice, though, usually to make a sarcastic comment if a username or an odd combination of words is just too funny. I still want to know what a DLA heathen is.
