Last time i looked auctioneer was in Alpha version for 2.0 and Gatherer was in beta. I am using both and they appear to be working fine. If you go to the here (http://auctioneeraddon.com/dl/) you can get the latest. Hope this helps and good hunting.
*Mob/NPC database
Mobinfo2.
Oh yah, this brings up a good point. I mentioned MetaMap, which will store coordinates (including zone) and job details (like banker, leather armor merchant, etc.) for NPCs. For mobs it stores coordinates and class (warrior, paladin, etc.). Great mod, but only useful for locating NPCs and mobs.
Mobinfo2 stores combat details on mobs...health, resistances, number of times you've killed, looted, what you've looted...a whole lot of stuff. Very different from MetaMap's functionality, so I thought I'd clarify the distinction. I use them both.

Auctioneer is in Beta atm, scroll down the page and choose /auctioneercomplete for the full package. I've tried it and it seems to work fine.
