Mage and 2 Handed Sword Question

I an a level 17 mage, with a 90/90 sword skill, but I am not able to equip my 2 handed sword. What must I do to do this?

You don't. Mages are not allowed to learn two-handed swords. See here (http://www.worldofwarcraft.com/info/classes/mage/). Staves, wands, daggers and one handed-swords only
