Hi,

Not had the game long, just over a week in fact...

Ive started out with a Human Warlock... ive gone right thru Elwynn Forest and am up to Level 11.
Ive just done a quest that enables my Voidwalker.... ive then gone into Westfall by exiting out of Elwynn Westwards but most of the quests are too high to complete on my own.

Im sure I read somewhere that I can also level from 10-20 in another land (Loch Modan?) then maybe come back to Westfall when I hit Level 13-15 to complete quests there???

Can anyone give me a quick guide on where I should be now at LvL 11... ie Westfall of Loch M??

If I should be at Loch Modan, how do I get there?? Is there travel to there from Stormwind???

Thanks a lot

Andy

You an always go way east in elwynne forest...there is a logger camp there that will probably get you another level or two....theres a few quests there.

Other than that Loch Modan is a definite choice....I found westfall to be slightly hard until level 14 or so. You COULD always go to Darkshire and quest there :P

I didn't want to be the first to post as I don't really have too much ally information. When I was leveling my alliance....at that level I was grinding right outside the Crossroads :)

To get to loch modan, go to IF via the train thing in Stormwind. Leave IF, go down and walk east. Read and follow the signs....itll be a bit of a walk!

People really ought to look at other places on this site than the forums - theres so much more useful stuff if they just look....

...anyway take a look here at the cartography section http://www.worldofwar.net/cartography/index.php and you will find maps which have an abundance of information on, along with levels for each area.

Stigg's advice is good. You may have missed some quests far to the East in Elwynn ... it's so far it seems like a new zone sometimes.

Westfall can be done right from Elwynn, though admittedly the first couple of level could be very painful. Start with the quests given by the the farmer and his wife (can't remember their names, but they're right beyond the gates along the road). Being a Warlock with a Voidwalker, you should be able to take on mobs one-on-one in the immediate area. Avoid the heirloom quest until later, when you have a few more levels. You can also make your way down the road to the fork, and cross straight to the farm there for more quests. Just plug away and be careful, and you'll find you can get it done. Be careful to avoid Dust Devils until you're in your high teens.

If you still find it difficult/impossible, then take the tram up to Ironforge and do some of the quest in that zone, probably the ones most profitable for you would be east along the road to Loch Modan. Loch Modan is the Westfall for Dwarves/Gnomes usually.

And no, don't go to Darkshire ... well, maybe once for the omg-ness of it

Haha, here comes the "I have no idea about alliance zones..." I meant the Night Elf's second zone....that long forested area outside teldrassil.

OH! DarkSHORE ... heehee!

Yes, a slight bit of difference there, amazing how much a difference one letter makes.

Still, it's a job to get up to Darkshore, and you'll be passing through the dwarf areas anyway to do it. For your first go, I would stay in those areas, and not worry about the Night Elf zones for a while yet. You'll get the same surprise in the Wetlands as you will in Darkshire anyway, with a lot less running around.

And yes, I did go to Darkshore at around level 8, with a 40+ paladin's help, and still died twice. I know, I suxxors.

Ok thanks for the replies everyone. Ive decided to take the trip to IF and get my running shoes on in preperation for the marathon walk to Loch Modan... ive had a look at the quests in that area and there are loads to do around L10-15 so I will be spending some time up there before returning to Westfall to complete the more challenging quests.

You died because all the mobs in the area saw you, had a meeting, and made the decision that you were in fact an unstoppable force, and the only way to handle you was for ALL of them to gang up on you at the same time. You are in fact "eh roxxor!"
