LFG tool and BC vs Roleplaying

Well I logged out 21st of october 2006, that was before the Looking for group tool and before The Burning Crusade came up.

I wonder what this has done to RP capabilities, I know the non-RP'ers will most of the time still be the majority on RP realms but has the LFG tool made it any easier to find RP groups?

The new LFG tool is just that, a tool. If anything, it's taken away from role-playing. It allows you to basically put your name up and see if others are looking to go to the same instance or raid or map area. I suppose you could RP in any messages you send to them.

But there is not facility to find an RP group (I'm presuming you mean a group of people who role-play, even if people they just meet?)

It does let you put a note in, so you could state you're looking for RPers to join you.

It's picking up, I think, but I believe the tool is still underutilized, at least on my server.
