Forming a Guild

Ok....this was originally a post about how I couldn't form my guild...but I talked to a GM....and seeing as how I can't delete it....Ill turn it into an education thread. :laugh:

When you go to try and register your guild you MUST have the charter in your main backpack.

I provide this information so you don't stay up an extra hour and half having to talk to kcma while waiting on a GM to respond :grin:

You specify main backpack. Does that mean not even in any of your other bags at all?

Not even there. Your *main* backpack only. Weird, huh? It's always been like that though.

Who knew? I think you might just have saved a lot of folks some frustration- a lot of guilds are dissolving/reforming in TBC, so this could be a very timely hint :)

This "feature" has been in the game for as long as I can remember. I wonder why it's never been sorted ?

Well, NOWEHRE does it say "put it in your main backpack"...

I thinkit may be because you can have multiple charters at once....I've only formed one guild....and that was my 1 man guild....created when I was like level 10...I doubt I even had any more bags the the first.
