Hi everyone,
Im fairly new to this game, have got 1 character up to Level 11, but am struggling for cash at the moment so I went for a look at the AH last night to see if I could sell anything. I managed to sell come Trade Goods but Ive found that I have some items (that I cant equip) that are Soulbound so the AH wont let me sell them.
As I know nothing at all about Souldbound items or Enchanted Items please could someone explain how I go about selling the 2 Soulbound Items I have picked up as loot. I am a Warlock with professions being Mining and Smithy,
What do soulbound items give you? Where do you get them from? Im clueless on this subject so pardon my ignorance

Soulbound items tend to be better than other items. In fact, all good-quality onwards items are soulbound the moment you either pick it up or use it. There are two types of soulbound, bind on pickup, meaning the moment you pick it up, it is soulbound to you, bind on equip, which only becomes soulbound to you once you equip it. Items already soulbound to you can only be sold to vendors, while those that binds on pickup can be sold in Auction houses.
Enchanted items are what you call items which has additional bonuses given (indicated by green name for bonus attributes) to an equipment via the means of enchantment. Normally, only enchanters can enchant your equipment, making them enchanted items. Enchantments are not AHed and you have to personally speak to an enchanter for the enchantment, provided either you have the materials, or the money for it.

Soulbound items are ones that cannot be sold or traded to another player. You can still sell them to a vendor.
Most items you will find at the lower levels are 'Bind on Equip' (BoE). This means that they are not soulbound to start with, but will become soulbound as soon as you use them. So if you loot somethig that you don't need, you can sell it on the auction house, but once you've used it you can no longer do so.
Some items are 'Bind on Pickup' (BoP). This means that as soon as you pick the item up it is Soulbound. Boss loot in instances is often Bind on Pickup.

Also to note, that almost every quest reward with some exceptions like potions are soulbound.

Level your enchanting and disenchant all the soulbound items that you can't use, and you will get shards, essences, and dusts. Check the prices on AH for these and sell them there. Always put a buyout price, and put them up for 24 hours at a time. One of the great things about putting these items on the AH is that there is no "deposit fee" to put them up, so you can have them on there forever without losing money, which is nice. You can make a nice profit from this. Or you can use those shards and essences to level your own enchanting skill. To each his/her own. Be aware that enchanting is a money pit though to level...while others are selling their blues and greens, you are disenchanting them and using the essences and shards to level your enchanting. But, if you level that enchanting to 300 you can make a LOT of $$ later on in the game and make a very valuable guild member.
One other thing to keep in mind: Usually soulbound quest rewards and boss loot that you can use will be better than anything else you have at that level, so equip it and use it yourself.

And do not take mining + blacksmith as a warlock. Take mining if you want money, but blacksmith will be totally useless to you.

It would be in your best interest to do tailoring/enchanting... Or even Herb/alch.
Both sets are very very profitable. I just made 18g off one stack of icecap yesterday.. WOOT.
