I'd say you were talking about Aspect of the Cheetah....but you said monkye....so maybe Aspect of the Monkey...but that doesn't give you speed.

Monkey Speed is an addon that shows you how fast you're moving in a percentage of normal run speed.

All addons go in your wow folder/interface/addons so stick everything you have in there.

I've never used this addon though so I don't know how to help you if it doesn't work.

MonkeySpeed

Overview

The MonkeySpeed addOn for World of Warcraft displays your player’s current speed as a percentage of run speed. Because the configuration variables are saved per character per realm, you can hide MonkeySpeed for your characters that don’t need it. This mod is great for hunters who might need a little reminder to turn on aspect of the cheetah :)

Because the way map coordinates scale, MonkeySpeed may display a speed that is off by 1 or 2 percent, especially the faster you go. For the most part it’s accurate.

Yes! Everybody hail me for I am amazing! And modest too. Nah not really, I'm just used to translating stuff like this on lots of forums (official wow forums anyone?). And no, the OP did not make sense!

I used to use a speed mod and found it very useful when on my mount to remind me to equip my carrot, boots and gloves.

On one of the other forums for hunters, they were openly asking/discussing with Blizzard the viability of giving hunters "aspect of the dolphin" for faster swimming speed.

I LOL'ed and almost fell out of my chair when I read the original post and the comments from other classes that followed.

It may not be related, but atm Im reading a book called "Temple", where to prevent attack by big Puma like creatures, they have to rub themselves all over with Monkey urine.

Despite the obvious problems involved with extracting this fluid, it might be what the OP is talking about.

Kinda along the same lines....I think there should be something liek that in the game for hunters...they kill something, it has a chance to drop something (or if they gather enough of said item...) they could then take on a similar aspect to the creature they killed.
