Earning rep in Stormwind!

I am 1,647pts away from Exhaulted status in Stormwind, and I have no clue how to further my reputation. I've done all the quests (I believe), I've donated the wool, silk and mageweave, and I'm plum out of ideas. I cannot donate runecloth yet (level 49), because the guy's exclamation mark is silver.

Is there a way I can increase rep? Possibly kill an enemy repeatedly? I have one stack of runecloth, but I'd prefer not to waste it when I can use it for gold. :)

Any ideas?

There's a repeatable quest in The Dagger Hills, Westfall.. Might want to check it out.

Why do you want to be exalted?

Runecloth is the best way to get there, you can get the quest when you're 50 and it takes 420 stacks to get from the start of revered to exalted. So one stack really isn't going to make much of a difference.

The only reason you'd want to get exalted with SW is so that you can ride a horsie. There are no other benefits. If you're serious about wanting a horse, get lots of runecloth. If you don't want a horse, or you're already a human, there's no reason to be anything over honored so don't bother.

Oh and the repeatable quest is from Grimbooze Thunderbrew in the Dagger Hills in Westfall (behind Moonbrook there). Turn in hops, get beer. I'm not sure if you get rep from it mind.

Basically, yes, I want a horse. :grin:

I just hit 50 (grinded some deadwood's in Felwood), so I should be able to turn in Runecloth now. And if you say it takes 420 stacks from beginning of Revered, it shouldn't take me more than a dozen or so.

If you're into PvP at all... when you hit 51 you can go to the Alterac Valley Battleground and do the hand-ins there. They give blanket 'Alliance' rep (many people were able to become exalted with the Draenei that way).

Don't worry about it. You'll be doing quests that'll give you all the reputation you need to hit exaulted and more before you even hit 60, let alone 70.
