2 noob questions

So yeah, up until now I've been having people open my lock boxes but trading them the box. But today a rogue made a comment asking if I was giving him the lock box. Than it finally dawned to me that I was prb. not doing it right. How exactly do you have someone open up a lock box for you?

Also would like to know how you get someone to enchant an item for you as well do you somehow "trade" the weapon to him so he can enchant it? Also how is it done if you have the mats, do you trade him the items in hopes that he doest run off with it?

Help on these questions would be great.

If you want lockbox opened or item enchanted, use the "will not be traded" box, which is the lowest on trade screen. If you have mats, you must trade them and hope he doesnt run off, because enchanter/crafter needs to have the mats in his inv to use them.

The whole "Is he gonna run off with the mats?" question was brought up awhile back...not sure if you were around for it.

Bascially the consensus was..90% of people are trustworthy...9% aren't but their rep as an enchanter would be gone so they won't run off, and the other 1% are...well...gonna take them.

So overall, there really isnt a need to worry about them running off. If theydo it to you and a few other players, chances are they are gonna get a bad rap REAL quick.

Even then....chances are you have a friend in your guild where there would be no worries of you getting jacked.

1) most enchanters charge mats @ cost, and they're pretty standard. so, why bother supplying your own mat.

2) it's really not worth the trouble to "steal" your mat...

3) i guess it's not a bad idea to not hand over nexus crystal to a complete stranger :)

Heh yes I am a level 63 noob -_-

Kinda of speed through the game getting to level 60, don't get me wrong it was a blast. But missed a lot of the basics stuff. Never even picked up a profession :P

Well at least there something to look forward to on an alt :D

I wish I had that dedication...Im so random i get an hour into grinding and see a tower and wonder whats in it....oooh time to sneak !

I remember i was stainding in that dwarven fort in the southern barrens, wondering why there were horde sitting in there staring at me unti i realized the mobs were green (ahh, an alliance outpost, the little horde ganking area). Doh! just looking around guys :wink2:

ya dude take some time out and smell the roses (err, silverleaf) trade skill and fishing can be fun sometimes
