I created a Drainpipe Paladin at the weekend and am currently lvl 13, but one thing that annoys me is the speed at which he seems to run.
Is it my imagination that he runs slower than all the other characters?
Is there any skill later in leveling up that gives you something like "aspect of the cheetah"?
Why is it that with a character that has hooves, you cant run any faster?
(ok that last question was a joke)
PS: Im doing the "tagging the 6 mulgoyles" quest atm on the north island. Has anyone done this or is it bugged? I cant seem to tag them and by the time Ive tried to and failed, my health is at 50% and I end up dieing. Its happened 4 times now!

I know as a lock u get a mount for free at 40 ! and at i think 30 as a druid you get cheetah form ?
Some classes also seem to be abel to sprint ????
Have also seen some "ghosts" legging it to there corpses !?

Every class can get a mount at level 40, warlocks and paladins get it for free though.
Shamans get ghost wolf at lvl 20, druids get travel form at 30.
Rogues can sprint, druids can dash in catform. These are both 10-second(not exact) speed boosts with a longish cooldown.
Mages can blink, and teleport to all the big cities from level 20 onwards.
Hunters get aspect of the cheetah at level 20.
To answer your question, at that level paladins run just as fast as other classes, unless they are using one of the above skills.

Not true...
There is a talent that allow you to add 4% running and riding speed for each talent point spent (max 2), but it does not stack with other speed boosts (speed enchants, mithril spurs, riding gloves).
I believe it's a rank 3 talent in the Retribution tree, but I'm not sure.

I did this on Sunday - no problems. Are you sure your tagging the scouts and not the others (whatever they're called)

It's an optical illusion actually. Folks, who've played Tauren and Gnomes are quite familiar with this issue already.
Set a Gnome and a Tauren next to each other at say the Shimmering Flats. And have them race on foot, no enchantments, no skills, no aura's etc. They're both just as fast and provided they both reacted just as swiftly to the starting signal, and nothing weird (mobs, lag, drunk behind the keyboard and not moving their character sanely etc) happens, then they'll both reach the finish line at the same time.
