Nope, I am not impressed! I rate TBC about a 6 out of 10 whereas the original about a 9.95. I am now a level 65 Priest having advanced one level per day --- and that is without really trying.

This part of the game is too easy, the mob's are underpowered, the quests seem mindless and with no overall theme, the drops and rewards are way overvalued and, in hindsight, they have now marginalized the point and purpose of MC, BWL and Onyxia.

I was reminded of the stupidity while doing one of the elemental quests in Nagrand: The giant stamps his foot and creates a map of the zone where you'll find the 15 rock elementals he wants to feed on. I counted the locations and thought about how I'd couple the locations with other quests I had all over the zone. I started west and within about 50 yards I encountered my first elemental --- however, within the next 100 yards I encountered all 15! Why not make the quest more challenging and have 15 elementals in 15 distinct locations?

I never thought I'd want more rather than less of a challenge --- even the murlocs in Southshore put up more of a fight!

I'll work my way to lvl70 and perhaps, as has always been said of the original game, the 'real game' begins then!

That's not challenging, that's tedious busywork. If there's anything I hate, it's the pointless travelling some quests require.

I think we already have an "I'm Not Impressed" thread.

Sure there are going to be people who arent happy - you cant please all of the people all of the time, but I think even you on the whole have to agree that the majority seem to be pleased with it.

Also dont forget theres the longevity/tedium factor. You have obviously been playing the game for some time & for a games developer to bring out something so completely different it is going to appeal and also make it similar enough to not alienate existing players is very hard. Just look at the massive unrest in the Guild Wars forums about Anets various GW releases and skill changes. There are massive amounts of criticism, and compare that to WoW with hugely increased player numbers and relatively little complaints.

Yeah, it's the "disspointed" thread. LOL. What is "disspointed"?

It's when you're not "spointed". (Duh!)
