alright, so I been playing the game for like 5-7 days now and I have achieved my druid up to lvl 17 going on 18. Things are going pretty good I have my profs selected and working on them nicely, purchased 3 bags and found 1, been finding alot of green items some of which I use alot I sell off.

First question, at what level do druids really start to shine if any. Also where can I get aqua / seal form??? I can't find it.

I currently don't have BC but if I get it is there more monthly fees? Can I just continue with the same druid? How does it all work.

Don't know the answer to the first question.

The second question, your monthly fee does not increase. Yes you can continue with the same druid.

The TBC will allow you access to new areas, and the ability to level above 60. There are other things but those are the two main things that will make you want to purchase tbc.

After you get to level 20 and get cat form...and more specifically once you get your points put into the talent to make you go 30% faster while in cat form. AND even more specifically when you get the eviscerate-like ability as a finisher.

kool thanks for the responses.

So just so I am clear, Nothing will happen to my current character when I purchase and install BC. I can continue playing but now I will have 10 more lvls and more areas and such. Correct?

You get access to sea lion form at level 16. You get the quest in Moonglade, I think maybe he e-mails you an invitation to come visit?

From there, you get directions to the 2 halves of the pendant from the Hippogryph operators. Then, you ask a high level friend to escort you as you take the boat to Menethil (pick up the flight path), run to Ironforge (pick up FP again), tram to Stormwind (FP again), run past the forest, out to the coast, and dive deep for half the pendant.

The other half, off Darkshore, is also kind of hard to get, but much closer. Then you can get Sea Lion form. It takes quite a while, and you either need to wait for it, or get some help.

You get the quest from the druid trainer in darnassus, named Mangenthyl Bearwalker or something like that. No idea for horde though.

Cat form trainable at level 20.

Travel form trainable at 30.

Innervate & hurricane at 40.

Also note that staff is not the only weapon you can use, if you visit a weapon master.

Stigg got the first two big jumps in killing speed but the third one is when you get mangle (lvl 50 if you go pure feral). It does the same thing as claw but at least x2 damage.

i had a 30 druid who was good fun!! Horde Cow man thing (tauren i think), the travel form was briliant!!!!

I used an off hand anda one handed mace i think, seemed to be a pretty good combo.

The sea lion quest took me forever and i dont think i have used it since getting it.

On a slightly related point to the OP's... is there any point in getting TBC before you have a level 60 char if you're not fussed about the new races?

Nope. You can still do everything as usual pre-TBC.

i had my new tauren druid(stupid bliz for not makin BE druids :( ) summoned to the BE territory, looks much nicer then durotar :), ive also seen some new BE q-givers around, but im not sure if u need the expansion for that.

However lvling from 58 to 60 goes MUCH quicker in the outlands then eg WPL, or atleast thats how i experienced it :)

The thing I like about the Xp the most is the 2 extra areas to lvl between 11-20. I've always been an area hopper, and enjoy doing all the quests at my level, then goin to another area and doing the same thing. 2 nedw areas = more quest candy  yum !!!
