Dual trinkets

OK, I have a trinket that upon use increases damage and healing from spells by 104 for 20 seconds. I have a quest at the moment which offers a similar trinket as a reward. Am I able to equip both and active at the same time?

Wouldn't know but I'm guessing they share the cooldown.

Depends really. If you are referring to the trinkets from the outland quests (For example trinkets from qs in Hellfire Peninsula and Zangarmarsh), then some of them don't share their cooldowns. Using one of them triggers a cooldown on the other so they can't be used at the same time, but they can be used immediately after each other.

Thanks for info, I'm guessing they will share the same cooldown. Seeing as though the trinket is the only reward I can from the quest I'll give it a go.

This does sound like the blue trinket you get from the "Overlord" quest in Hellfire Peninsula, and the green trinket you get from some Ogre quest in NW Zangarmarsh. I have both of these, and I can confirm that they share the same cooldown. Hence you can't use them at the same time, but as the cooldown on the 2nd trinket is limited to the duration of the 1st one, you could certainly chain them together.

Besides, these trinkets have some nice static "Equip:" effects as well, namely +26 crit and +23 damage. The blue Overlord trinket is basically two trinkets rolled into one - i.e. Eye of the Beast + Talisman of Ephemeral Power. So I'd say they are still worth equipping, even if you don't pop them every time the cooldown is up.

Yeh just to confirm that they share a cooldown that is equal to the length of the duration of the trinket (hope that makes sense)

EG I have the ZHC (increases spell power for 20secs) and one of the outland trinkets (increases spell power for 15secs). If I use the ZHC the shared cooldown of 20secs kicks in on the other trinket. If i use the outland one the shared cooldown of 15secs is applied to ZHC. So you can use them one after the other but not both together
