I just started playing, and so far I've been NPCing all of the duskbat fangs, wings, cloth, malachite(some item with green title, should I be keeping?), and all of the rest of that stuff that I don't have any use for.
Should I keep it to use for other skills(if that's what they're for), or sell em to other people? Is there even a market for items at such low lvl? (7).
Thanks for the help...

Get the Auctioneer Addon and use it, as well as browsing the AH to see what sells and what doesn't. Some of that stuff is just good for a couple silver from a vendor, while some may be worth quite a bit more if you AH it. You have to check them item by item to find out, and Auctioneer can help.

Ya Aeriannes a pack rat by nature (you'd be amazed at how much stuff I have to clean out of her packs  sheesh, I'm amazed that woman has so much space in there!) and thus I end up with alot of stuff to deal with.
I will sell most of it, unless I specifically have another alt who would use it in a tradeskill. Moss agates may not be hardcore sellers, but having a stack of them might come in handy the next time you decide you really want to level the blacksmithing skill on your alt warrior... <--- from the journal of an altoholic
However, if you want to follow the path of the pack rat/altoholic you
want to research the tradeskills to find out what they need. For example, leatherworking sill use mostly mats you find thru the skinning skill, though on occasion you will get a mat from a loot that is used (such as light/medium/heavy hides), and the gems area always used (moonstone, tigerseye, etc) so alot of it depends on how many alts and mules you want to have to manage. If you want to avoid alt-itis, just sell everything you get... there will always be more on the Ah to buy later on:wink3:

Thanks for the responses, I'll DL that auctioneer addon when I get home from work...
And here's a nice noob question that I would eventually figure out myself...but since I won't be home for quite a few more hours, I'll ask it: Where is the first auction house I'll find? I'm at Tirisfal Glades.

That would be undead city (old lordaeron) its in the outer ring once you get into the center of the city (I found undercity very confusing when I first go there) but once you get to the center hub drop down to the lower level and head into one of the passageways that go away from the center...they lead to an outer passageway that circles the center hub, and the auctioneers are on a few platforms surrounded by a bunch of crates (thats how I found them...lots of crates  ) hope that helps !!!!

only sell items whit grey names to vendors.
white named items can be used for some profession. cloth for tailoring and 1st aid for example. NO char should not hve 1st aid maxed, so stop selling cloth to the vendor until you have 1st aid at a high enugh level so that you will need the ext better cloth. then sell it in the Ah.
not all white items are worth to be put in the Ah though. Some things are just for leveling recipies or recipies that are otherwise not high in demand. Best check on some item database on the net what the white's you find are for. Then decide if people will want that item, therefore they will want to buy materials, therefore you put it in the Ah.
green and better items ALWAYS go in the Ah.

At level 7 you shouldnt be buying anything, weapons/amour will come as you do quests and kill creatures. Heres how I see it, I usually hold onto a weapon/armour until i find ones with higher hit points/damage. All the other things that I loot I just sell it. By the time you get higher and higher in level, your going to find higher hit point weapons and armour. At low level you wont find anything thats rare or worth keeping.

Find your WoW folder, then Interface folder, then Addons Folder. Copy all the folders with Aucitioneer Addon into the Addons folder. Then, when you load the game, before you select a character, click the Addons button in the lower left corner and make sure all boxes are checked. Once it works, type /Auctioneer load always. Go to the AH and do a scan, and you're good to go.
I had to DL version 3.9 because of the patch, so if you're trying to use UI Central, last I saw they only linked to 3.8, which didn't work for me.
