The stupidest thing I have ever seen a very smart person do however is as follows, (and this guy is a serious genius)..

So were on holiday in Malta, and he realises he didn't bring any sun cream (he has a fair complexion and was pale as anything going over). He goes into the store and gets the cheapest bottle of sun cream he can find (saving money for booze).

We head out for the day, everyone just in shorts and after about 4 hours my mate stars showing signs of redness.

About 2 hours after that he was blood red all over his face chest and back, worst sun burn I have ever ever seen by far.

He had bought aftersun lotion.

My o My, so many to tell.

As kids growing up in a small southern town there wasn't much to do. One 4th of July we decided, as young teens, to see how big a bomb we could make. We took the insides out of M80's, firecrackers, bottle rockets. Anything we had and put it in a PVC pipe. When we got it done no one was brave enough to ignite it. So I came up with a helluva idea. I cut the primer off a 12 guage shotgun shell and said we can ignite it by hitting the primer from a good distance with a BB gun.

So...I practiced a little on some primers to see if I could actually hit them. I stepped back about 50 feet and well, whadya know, I actually hit it. The primer went off and shot the BB back. Struck me in the top of my head and almost knocked me out. Fell to the ground.

Try explaining that to your mom and the doctor. I remember my mother freaking out seeing me holding my head with blood all on my hands. The doctor had a chuckle. Had to go to the emergency room to have it removed and several stiches.

I thought I was man enough to free climb a 55 foot cliff face without a partner on a climb I had never done before during the winter. I made it about 40 feet up when I got to a small alcove. Thinking I should take a break from the climb, I got into the alcove and laid down. After building my strength back up I attempted to get out of the alcove. Problem was...I was in a dead zone. No way for me to get up or down or side to side on the face without a serious risk of falling. So I waited there. Spent the night in that alcove and kept myself "warm" by stuffing the dead leaves into my clothes. I still had no idea how I was going to make it out. The next day I got rescued by about 50 people that went out looking for me upon the request of my family. I got rushed to the hosptial where I suffered from hypothermia, shock, a serious cold, and one hell of a headache.

When i was learning to ride a bike on 2 wheels I rode one about 2 inches and thought i was a pro. Filled with confidence I then attempted to ride it into the garage to put it away and promptly fell off and split my head open requiring 4 stitches at the local A&E.

Strangely enough though a couple of months later I again rode a bike about 2 inches on 2 wheels and thought I was a pro. This time however, I didn't fall off and was able to ride it around the garden perfectly!

#2. Your posts are incomprehensible. I can't understand a thing you write, so even IF you have a decent point, it is lost. Learn to spell and type properly and there would be MUCh less of a problem. We are all aware of your ability to type properly (as you did it in the FF section...) so your complete lack of interest in doing so is incredibly annoying.

#3. You don't contribute anything to any thread. Your posts are not on-topic, or if they are, they add nothing to the conversation at hand. You say you came back to read through the warrior forums, well great. Stay there and read. Try to contribute something positive and helpful.

It's one thing to just be a bad typist, but quite another to state that you type well, and then go on to fully show that you cannot. Typos are one thing, everyone makes typos. In almost every case, I am sure that your point is very quickly lost due to annoyance and difficulty in trying to understand what you are saying. In all honesty, I would rather somebody be a bad speller than be horrid at grammar.

Valentine's dress? How does one go about procuring one of these?

You begin a series of quests by talking to the main city inkeeper. I've only done it in Stormwind, so I don't know if you have to come down from the other cities to there, or if the same kind of quest is in each city.

In Stormwind, you talk to a man standing by the fountain at the bank. He may not have a ? above his head, depending on your level and the level of the quest. You basically run about Stormwind doing simple 'talk to this person' quests. Eventually, though, you have to run up to Hillsbrad and up behind Ravenholdt. Once you talk to the guy there, you can get a very nice dress ... in lavender, light blue or red! Sexy too! :wink:

I'm going to do it for most of my alts, but it will be simple enough since I'm on RP PvE servers ... I've no idea how I'm going to do it for Shaetiel, though ... I'm thinking there's going to be a lot of ghost running! What most concerns me is possible gankers camping out the quest spot, but I'll give it a good try, maybe later at night when most kiddies have gone to bed. :grin:

Edit: Oh yes, and you can also get chocolates from various NPCs that you give heart tokens too, that provide pretty nice buffs for an hour. As well, you can collect items into a gift package to give to your favourite leader. I'm not sure what, if anything, you get out of doing so, though, except maybe a /blush from the respective leader ... I'm going to see what I can put together for Tyrande (sp?) soon too. :blush:

Yes, my main has a bag full of nice clothes too .. and you're right, not enough shoes ... just icky, practical boots!

I'm sure I've seen that black dress ... if it's the one I'm thinking of, these valentine dresses are the same design, just brighter colours! But yes, 200 gold is rather too much for a vanity object, in my opinion.

And why not get ones for Elyshia and your pally too? Those two could actually survive the trip up there, provided no high level ganker is lurking about. :grin:
