Looting bug - any thoughts?

I'm having a bit of a loot problem and wondered if anyone had any ideas.

Whenever I'm grouped I dont see any loot other than coins and greys. If a green or better drops I dont get the option to roll and if I am made ML I dont see the item to allocate to others - just as if it wasn't there at all. Whenever in a group and a group loot item drops it just times out and eventually comes up that I have passed on the item (which I haven't even seen).

When in a group someone else can ML and allocate an item to me and I receive it OK. If I'm soloing I can loot items as normal.

My thought is that some addon must be the problem, so I have updated all addons I use to the most recent version but still have the same problem. I dont have any loot related addons. Only thought I have is to next disable all addons and gradually introduce them until I see at what point I have a problem.

I wondered if anyone else had ever encountered this problem, or had heard of something similar? If so please post any suggestions you may have as its turning into a bit of a pain.

Do you have any mods which may be affecting your roll window? such as bongos?

I'm having the same problem, and it's driving me crazy. I do indeed use Bongos, but I've disabled the "Bongos Roll bar" component and I still have the same problem. I can't get MoveAnything to interact with the roll frames at all, because "That window can only be moved while visible," and apparently they're never visible (even offscreen which I thought might be the problem, nor even when they should be (while grouped and looting)).

Are there any other mods which modify the roll bar???

Sounds like Bongos has hidden the Blizz bar. Try renaming your Bonbos saved variable file and seeing if the bar comes back.

Well, I found the problem for me, but I'm not sure this will help the OP. Mine wasn't Bongos-related at all, but rather an Ace2 mod called XLoot. It's a great mod, but somehow I had accidentally configured it to a UI scale that was a factor of 1.5 above that actually in use. As a result, my group roll frame was always displaying at the right times--but about 600 pixels off screen.

If you're using XLoot and have this problem, check that configuration before blaming Bongos. If not, then may the Force be with you...
