no.
you can install wow on multiple pc, but you can log in with your account only on 1 at the time. If you log another with the same account, the first one will be disconnected.

You may install your copy of WoW and TBC on any number of computers you want, but you can only log in to your account on one of them at the same time. If you try to log in the same account while it is being used on one of your other PC's, you will get disconnected.

On the other hand, in order to play simultaneously, you will have to purchase new copies of both WoW and TBC, and pay a monthly subsription for each one of them.

And no, the characters on your account can not be transfered to other accounts. They are permanently "attached" to your account.

EDIT: Too late. :)

If you own both accounts, I'm fairly certain that Blizzard allows for character transfers. I'd suggest looking at the support sections of the official site to find out more.

Indeed, if you are the owner of both accounts you can transfer characters between them. That's what I've heard, never done it as I don't have / can't support the playtime for two accounts.

Currently have my WoW installation on 4 different PCs, my main desktop where I play. My second PC for when friends that also play WoW come to visit, on my laptop for when I'm traveling and on my office PC for checking the AH over lunchtime / etc.

I've found that keeping my Interface and WTF folders on a memory stick makes it a lot more portable as well, so I can quickly get setup anywhere I go and keep them all in synch rather easily.

Well, I do not know if Blizzard does that on request, but I have two accounts, one was a gift for my friend and I bought the box, and paid for it with my credit card. Both have my name, address, etc., in the contact details and I paid the subscriptions each month with the same credit card too. He retired and I only use that account for enchanting and other crafting, but I'm pretty positive I've never seen the option of character transfer between accounts on the account management page. Well, exactly positive cause I just checked again.

Anyway, I'd check it out with Blizzard.

ok ...here's the deal ..right of WOW website
What is the Paid Character Transfer feature?

The paid character transfer feature allows you to move characters to other realms and even from one account where you are the subscriber to another account where you are the subscriber, subject to certain restrictions. The cost of each paid character transfer is $25.00 USD per character. Currently we only accept payment by credit card (American Express, Discover, Mastercard, and Visa) for these transactions.

you bought wow, started a toon, he's over 60, epic geared, lot of gold.
suddently, you learn you brother/cousin/friend/whoever also play wow, he's in a raiding guild and such, the prob, different server. if you want to play with your brother/cousin/.... you need to start a new toon on that server.

instead, now you can just pay 25$US then move that toon without having to start from the scratch again.

and yes blizz already stated if you own both account, you can transfert toon form 1 to another. allowing the guy who also hosted his kid toon, to buy a new account, move those toon to that account and play with his kid.

It is there...start the process, and go past where you select the character you wish to move....

Then click the little box that says "click here to move this character to a different account".

I just recently did a character transfer. My set-up is:

(1) Two copies of the game (BC) installed on two different machines,
(2) Two separate accounts with the same name. You are allowed the option of using different credit-cards, with different names for billing purposes, BUT the account name must be the same, and you must know the answer to the secret question on each.

There are restrictions on the amount of gold you can transfer - it'll tell you this.

Be sure you have the second account set up before you initiate the transfer. I specified the same server for each account, this is optional. Also be sure the character you want to transfer has no auctions and no mail.

Then follow the steps at the website. It will direct you through the process and cost you $25US per character. You'll be prompted to enter a form of payment. Once the transfer procedures are complete, you'll notice a funny code attached to your character and you won't be able to play it.

Check your email frequently because you'll be asked by blizzard if it is "OK" to bill your credit card. Once this is done, your charcter transfer will be complete and you can play it on the new account. It took 3 days for my transfer to be completed.

By the way - all your "friends" will be gone. You will also be booted out of your guild.

Good luck!

In my case, my wife created a character on my account. Then we decided to get her a copy of WoW and so we did.

I copied the entire WoW folder from my comp onto hers (yes, you don't even need to install and patch it all over again) using a home network. Or you can use an external HDD.

Created a new account from the WoW website, then had her character transferred to this new account (both in my name of course).

Took only a few hours in my case.
