Good RP realm...

I am just wondering...

Me and my girlfriend are starting new characters, as we both are RP players since long time now (that is how we met). I am seeking a good realm with RP Guilds that, I was playing on Scarshield Legion but there RP has fallen with the good guilds like Crimson Eagle, Stormwind Militia, The Forty, Order of the Silver Lion, etc. I was hopeing that somewere there is a realm that realy focuses on RP, but I would like to know the adress...

Well I hate to be the only one to respond as I have only had this game for a week now. However I did have a similair situation to yours. Heres a list. Someone feel free to correct me on this, or help add to it. I only know U.S. servers so yeah....

U.S. Servers:
1. Venture Co. (Alot of people on this forum started a guild on this server.)
2.Twisting Nether.

Euro:
1. Steamwheedle Cartel

Oceanic:
???

Avoid:
Lightning Hoof, Goldshire.

Since you're on Scarshield Legion, I assume you have no objection to RPPvP servers, so let me suggest taking a look at Defias Brotherhood. While it's not my home server, it does seem to have by far the strongest RP community of the EU RPPvP servers. For non-PvP servers, Darkmoon Faire seems pretty strong, and you may also want to look at The Sha'tar, where some European members of this forum are setting up a guild. :smiley:

And what about RP/PVP servers like:

Defias Brotherhood
Ravenholdt
Sporeggar
The Venture Co.

I know that a pvp/rp server isnt as good as a RP serv, BUT I like realizem and a pvp server where you can atack without warning and be atack without warning sounds like more fun then PvE...

Venture Co is excellent. My boyfriend plays a undead rogue on this server named Dreadhy. We are in a portuguese speaking guild.

ummm....I'm on The Venture Co on the Alliance side and I can say that the RP factor is almost nil. Maybe the Horde side is different. There are some RP guilds and some RP characters that I come across, but not as much as you would expect (or like to see) on an RP realm.

I guess it depends on your guild and the faction and such. I enjoy it but you are right when it is not as much RP as other servers. It is pretty good with horde though.

Depends which Venture Co. you're talking about. Venture Co. EU has some strong RP organisations Horde-side; it's a very very nice server (I recently rerolled there, and can't see myself ever wanting to reroll again). I don't know much about the Alliance side except that they seem to have a couple more problematic guilds. I still think Defias Brotherhood probably has more RP immersion, but I've still somehow ended up fonder of Venture Co.

Venture Co. US I have more limited experience with, but it didn't seem like a very busy server, and RP was hard to find in the short time I played there. That was Alliance, though.

I am Venture Co Horde US, I haven't had much experience outside because I stay with my groups but you are more than welcome to join me if you want to start up in venture co horde :wave:
