In search of Skettis

can anyone tell me how to get to Skettis? i have it mapped out, but i can't find the way in. now, i do have a bad habit of overlooking paths and such, but i've searched and can't seem to find any way into the place. i would think it would be from the arakkoa village just to the west of it... but if anyone can help me out, i'd sure appreciate it. :)

Accessible only with a flying mount.

Yes, only accessible by flight. Which is cruel since you get the quest for the fires at level 65.

The mobs up there are 70-71, and they are packed tightly, and they hurt. The arrakoa shaman up there have a lightning attack that hits for 900-1100.

Quest for the fires? Who? Where?

At Throne of Elements I only ever had Water and Earth quests ^^ And yes..mobs there hit hard and you only can fly up there...

There is a lengthy quest chain, that iirc sends you to all the arrakoa camps in Terrokar. The last step tells you to go put out 4 fires in the Skettis camp.

I think I did that quest, and it wasn't actually in Skettis, but rather in one of the other camps.

I'm pretty sure I did the whole chain quest in terokkar at lv 66 and never needed a flying mount...

which part you talk about?

4 fires is indeed reacheable with a normal mount..east part of bone waste

Yes and keep an eye out for the bird at the south camp entrance who begins a mini chain that ends in a decent necklace
(although its an escort quest and the bird you are escourting really makes it a point to fly at evey mob as fast as possible jsut to cheese you off, only to end the escort with a level 65 elite battles...i solod it at 65 but i thought i was going to fail once or twice during.

some way to go up are ramp around the tree, and some are a path INSIDE the tree. be careful

No, you don't need a flying mount, you use the ramps and walkways. I found these quests almost laughably easy with my hunter, and there was great mining in the area too :-)

well, you don't need a flying mount to do the quests, i did those already. but i'm guessing you do need the flying mount to actually get into Skettis, from what has been said.

crap. another level to go... well, anyone know of anywhere else to pick up mana thistle? :grin: my alch is at 372 and those last 3 points are laughing at me...
