Razormaw issue

Im doing a Drainai quest to kill Razormaw on Wyrmscar Island.

Its a 2 part quest, where the first is to collect dragon bones, then the second is to chuck them on the fire and Razormaw will decend and you kill him....but I didnt (soooo close though).

So I rezed and went back, but when I try to attack the fire it says I need dragon bones - so I obviously used up the first lot. I went back to the quest giver but he didnt have any, then went to the Owlkin area where I collected the first lot, but they dont have the "cog" symbol over them now.

Scuppered!! Any ideas?

Abandon the quest and get it again?

Have you tried to abandon quest and see if it returns?
Often works when you need something given from a quest giver.
