Ok trying to help my friend get his Epic Mount for his Warlock and the door..won't open.

Im 63, we have a 70, 63 and 2x61's.

the door won't open, the 70 lock said it worked for him earlier today and now it says after u try to unlock it doesnt open...u try to right click again and it says "invalid target" for the next few seconds than u can try to open it again.

anyone have this problem?

The one with the Key needs to open the door.

all of us but 1 had the key. we ran around for about 5 mins and tried again and i could open the door, the 3 with the key coul dcome in but the warrior whom didnt have the key couldnt enter....he relogged and could than enter.

When you open the door, the one without key can run in too. There is no limit to the instance portal itself, it is only the door where you need a key. In theory, I could come and open for someone, then leave group and he could run into DM with himself or a party all without keys.
Unless something has changed since 2.0.

You can open the door for anyone, even if not in your party.

Unlike UBRS where the locked door is inside the instance, the doors to DM N and W are outside the instance. You can open that door, let any riff raff in and leave. Inside the door is a wall sconce that can be activated to open the door from the inside.

Scholomance is the same, as is Strat undead.

If the key isn't working, tried a nice phat seaforium charge? That used to work on those doors too.

get naked and get killed by a troll near door, then res behind the door.

no durability damage. and you can open the door for yourparty.

or if you have a warlock, lifetap till it fizzles then hellfire till you die. tell your priest you are doing it tho, incase he starts panic healing.

the problem was we'd try to unlock the door..and it wouldn't open it would stay shut...but we'd get an "invalid target" when we tried to open it again for about 3 seconds than it'd run the bar for opening it again...

the door just never opened. Eventually it did for 4 of us but not the warrior, he relogged and the door wasn't 'bugged' anymore and he got in.
