Making a level 39 BG twink...

So...my main character is a level 68 priest. I have a warrior that just hit 40, who I subsequently geared with all the wonderful level 40 warrior gear. I have a level 38 Hunter sitting around. I got to thinking, I like PvP...and I've only ever done AV. I'd like to try my hand at WSG or AB. I'm considering twinking out my hunter. I could spend the money I was planning on using for his mount on a bow of searing arrows/basilisk hide pants/some extra enchants. Before I do that, however, is it worth it? Are there enough people playing this bracket in any BG to make it worthwhile? I'm in a medium population server. Anyone who has experience with this, please let me know.

If you like to play your hunter in pvp, id suggest it
Even if you decide to untwink him, you can always buy all that leet AB gear =P

Shouldn't have much problem. 30-39 usually has plenty of WSG going during evenings. Maybe a few AB. Might have to wait a bit at other times (especially AB).

I know this is my first post, but I've been a long time reader of this website and have been wanting to register lately, and this post made me want to do it.

I've had a twink in this bracket since the bracket came out. Right now is one of the best times in the whole history to have one. The population of your server doesn't really matter, because you are in a battlegroup with many servers. The queue times in my battleground group in the evenings are nearly instantaneous, and all other times don't usually go more than a few minutes.

If you're really serious about getting this to be the best twink you can be then I hope you're not too much into level 38, so you have time to get all the gear out of instances that you'll need. Bow of Searing Arrows and Basilisk Pants are good for starters, but I know that I have to plan every peice and some of those are only going to be in instances.

It's definitely worth it and there are plenty of people who have found that this bracket is really a ton of fun to play in. I can't recommend it enough, a good blend of great players and new players with some decent 30 levels under their belts make for good games.
