Question one: What is the name of the damage meter addon I see people use all the time? It prints out in party chat the amount of damage each person has done, and also the amount of healing each person as a done. What is the name of this addon and where do I find it? I know this isn't the mod forum, but since I have another question I figured you might be able to help.

Question two: Why Lord why? Over 20 Blood Furnace runs today, in about five hours, and the one item I want from a boss hasn't dropped. Everything else has dropped, twice, except the Raiments of Divine, a nice cloth armor piece from the final boss of BF. I started at about 262k into 63, and now I'm 480k into 63. And only about 30k was rest.

As a 63, is it worth it to continue going for this item? Or should I wait? I mean, at first it was funny, then it got annoying, now I'm just pissed off.

1) There's a bunch of 'em. Visit a UI site (e.g. ui.worldofwar.net) and hit up a search. I never saw the need for 'em as they're largely data without information and often horridly out of whack unless properly synchronised throughout the raid/party.

2) No, it's not. Pick up a run if you feel like it and have nothing better to do, but there's better gear to be had. By and large anyway. A few items in those early instances actually do last longer than you'd think they would.

Noo...go level somewhere else. The quests are insane XP bonuses and you will be replacing your gear left and right until you hit 70 Which probably won't be for awhile if your still running the same instance for the same drop. :P

my rule of thumb is if you really really want something from an instance not at the level cap then run it once, maybe twice, and if you dont get it move on. your getting maybe 40k xp/hour in there, but questing you could be knocking out 100k xp/hour, so your just hurting yourself in the long run

Hmm, not sure I would totally agree with the 'replacing left, right and centre' bit. I'm 2/3rds of the way through 65 and I'm still mainly using the chest and leggings you get from the beginning quests in Honor Hold.

I have found myself replacing minor pieces of gear more often though ... gloves, boots, bracers, etc. (I came across the cloth shoulders in Ramparts early, and haven't seen any better yet, as well as the Mindfire belt in Furnace). And the number of trinkets! Good gosh!

I have to agree though, I would dearly love a couple of the drops from the beginning instances. Crystalfire Staff or whatever from the demon in Ramparts, and the Raiments of Divine Authority. There's Robes of the Augurer in the Slave Pens too (or is it Underbog?), that would be very nice to have as well. Our luck, though, is usually to find the pieces no-one in the groups can use. Usually mail pieces, or plate.

But the fact that I can get by handily enough with beginning BC gear suggests that you shouldn't get hung up on trying to get that one piece of gear. I would say get back to questing, there's so much to see and do, don't spend all your time running the same instance over and over. You'll have plenty of that when you're 70, I'm sure.

Yeah, you guys are right. I'm thinking I'll just swap gear with whatever I get, and come 70, do the raid for the Vestments. Well, hope to do the raid for the Vestments. I'm sure there'll be lots of people wanting to raid for months to come.
