when i was finishing leveling the hunter up to 30 that the lvl 27 mobs i was killing were giving me substantially more xp than when my rogue was grinding the same level mobs...at 29 on the rogue pre BC i was getting around 120-150 xp a kill...since bc came out my lvl 29 hunter is getting 160-185xp a kill....did blizz decide to help everyone out a little to promote the BC release by giving more xp per kill? i noticed this all around as well, as my lvl 6 can get 80-100xp a kill for her level as opposed to my lvl 6 prior to bc only getting 50-80xp...this makes a huge difference in grinding i noticed

230 mobs average to lvl 30 from 29 pre bc
180 mobs average to lvl 30 from 29 post bc....

where is stigg for some theory crafting!!

you know...this should probably be in statistics...

mod please move

no i only solo and this was all unrested xp

usually for two levels below you i would only get 130 xp
i was killing two levels below me (lvl 27) and getting 186xp pretty much standard

perhaps different mobs. Perhaps they did bump some of the xp in bc. seeing as now you have to get to 70 instead of 60 :) or maybe you are just..... WRONG :)

Memory being off - dunno.

xp gained per mob is dependent on the mob's level and yours (relative to it).
